It is something earned or otherwise acquired in that sense, is it not? In that case, I feel that there should never be a monetary value placed on a position that demands a level of discernment that speaks of maturity and competence when concerning this site.

And truly, one on staff would be working for a number of thankless citizens, without recieving any wages, though I may be incorrect, but it is to my knowledge that you are not given a salary of any sort while on staff.

It is earned, never bought, due to the priveledges and actions that are acquired when given the position of a Cid's Knight or Administrator.

You do realise that the entire staff is certainly over sexed as they have their porn forum, secret staff forum, and the HSUbah porn frequenting both (from what I here:choc2: ). And walking into a college orgy, or a bar and saying, "Do me, I am forum staff at Eyes on FF" works like a charm.

I genuinely would've paid for the experience I've had.

I know this is gonna sound stupid because it's managing a Final Fantasy forum, not An Important Thing, but reflecting back I've learned a hell of a lot. Working with people I'd never normally work with and getting to know their unique styles and idiosyncrasies, collaborating to achieve shared goals, challenging people in seniority and holding them accountable, devising plans and strategies on best way forward, dealing with difficult and challenging people, etc.

They've all been useful skills to acquire for my professional career and hey, I'm glad the mistakes and smurf ups I've had as I've learned and grown were made here and not in my dayjob! You gotta start somewhere, right? :D
