What gives you that feeling?

Do you ever get the feeling of complete happiness where you are so happy that you forget about all your problems and truly experience some rare but true momments of silence in your mind and to have only focus of what is making you happy at that time? Do you ever have momments in your life where you feel so good because of something that you think the whole world around you should lighten up and just try to grasp the feelings, the momment that you are experiencing that the world should keep revolving with you held within this momment for all of eternity?

For me I get feelings this great and strong when I watch some movies or listen to some songs. Do you ever feel like this? If so, when ?

I think my kids are about the only nouns that make me feel like I have accomplished anything in my existence. And I don't just say that because they are my kids, I say that because of their small accomplishments and the credit they give me just for being dad.

Actually I recall something now. But what really made me happy was when my sisters and I used to play video games together. I was really young but nothing used to make me happier. We all stayed up late and played Super Mario Brothers and then Pokemon Snap...My sisters are older now (23 and 18) and I barely spend any time with them now and it seems we drifted apart. But I'm being totally honest when I say I'd give just avbout anything to go back to those times...I'm probably the only one who hasn't said sex hehe

Thought. Which is almost contradictory since thought and imagination isn't exactly in our reality. In my brain, anything is possible. I can be and do whatever I please. Thinking of concepts, thinking of stories, thinking of anything, just makes me happy. I love to think. Few (well, two total) things in reality make me happy in any regard. Everything feels too bleak to get much joy out of.

My girlfriend also fills me up with joy, when I'm alone with her, she makes me feel like I can do anything and everything I want to like in my thoughts, she's helped me through so many things, whenever I'm stressed I can always go to her, and she makes me feel happier, being with her is always the highlight of my day. Sadly, I don't get much privacy, so I don't get to be as alone with her as I would like, or I guess could even be considered adequate.

My friends. They've also given me emotional support and made me happy. I am lucky to have them, I do hate being alone.

I would have to say that nature and the elements give me this feeling most often. Like when I go for a walks a a nice day and there is a gentle breeze and I am not thinking about anything in particular. Or when I am alone and in the shower. Besides that, certain episodes of certain animes. The really moving ones, which tend to be the season/series finales. Once and a while listening to music that matches my mood.
