Have you ever woken up crying?

Rubedo: It's strange. I sometimes have the most bizarre dreams that make me feel terrible. One time, about a year ago, I had a dream that everybody got a cookie but me. I don't know how they got the cookie, and how I didn't, but that's what happened. I woke up sobbing. :(

I don't know if I've woke up crying before, but I have woken up very sad. Usually something bad happened in a dream. I'm pretty relieved when I find out it was only a dream!

Either that, or I'm having an awesome dream and I wake up and find out it wasn't real. Then I'm really sad that it wasn't true.

I've had a few dreams that me really sad and then I woke up with tears in my eyes. Although occasionally I'll get dreams where I finally get something I've wanted for a long time (nothing material, usually a relationship with someone whom I've cared for a while now), only to wake up and find that it was all a dream. I hate dreams like that, sometimes I wish I didn't dream at all just to save me from those type of dreams. Its rare that I have a "good" dream.

No, never ever woken up crying. Because when I wake up, THAT'S when I'm usually in a good mood. Sleep helps me get over a lot of things. Although I have started crying soon after I've woken up. Almost the same thing I guess.

I cannot recall waking up while crying, nor can I remember a time that I fell asleep crying either; however, I have felt quite sorrowful on either occassion. I simply haven't come to the point of physically expressing the sadness when I wake, though I hardly cry, so this may in part be due to such a thing.
