and Carlos Mencia- No Strings attached(the joke about muslims.

Dane Cook, Dave Chapelle, George Carlin, and Richard Pryor are my favs. I also want to give a noteable mention to Martin Lawrence. I thought his HBO special(s) were hilarious and his show was pretty funny too.

Guys, Dean Cook is a really bad comedian. Except for his BJ routine. (No, not your husband BJ) =] Now if you want some awesome comedians, go for Russell Peters and Mitch Hedburg.

Eddie Murphy's Raw is byfar the best stand-up routine of all time.

Jim Gaffigan and Mitch Hedberg are also really good. I can't stand Dane Cook though.

And Jennifer Saunders is a bril writer too ! :hot:
But for comedians i love Sarah Silverman and Maggy Cho ... i love race/ gay humor ... its sooo crude and leaves you feeling slightly tainted by the filth >.<
Kathy griffin is ok ... but not as crude and filthy as i think she could be

Anyone who thinks Raw is the best stand up routine ever clearly has good taste in comedy.

I haven't seen much stand up lately, so I'd have a really hard time choosing the funniest ones. Many of the ones mentioned in this thread are golden though. <3
