Hello. I'm Jack. You may remember me from such famous...

Anyway, I was just curious (since I'm bored) about if there was any GENIUNE interest in another UK Meet-Up this year. I arranged the last one in Birmingham (in July) and with nothing to do, I wondered if people wanted to do it again. If not, I'll crawl back into my hole. I was thinking about October. However, I'm just putting my toe in the water. Nothing concrete, but if there was enough GENUINE interest and momentum... Who knows?

Bye Bye

If it's going to be in Newcastle then maybes I could hop in. I live too far up north to get into these meet ups.

We had one in Manchester. Most of the people who came actually came from the South. It was in the summer as well. Manchester 2005 (http://www.eyesonff.com/members/wiki/History/TheSecondOneUKMeet-UpII)

As for the photos, we took so many this time, we are still going through them. And when I say we, I mean Psy. :)

It depends where it is and what I'm doing in October. :jess:

Provided I'm not doing anything at that time, I wouldn't mind a meetup in October. The closer to London the better for me, but I might actually make the effort to travel this time, if it all goes ahead. It might be a little too soon for those who were there last time, but I think I'd be up for it.

My mum wouldn't let me meet up with people I've never seen face to face.

I would like to come if it was in London, though.

I'll go if Baloki goes.

October is the month I go back to university, so it would depend how busy I am.

That's WHY I was thinking then. Budgets will more genorous in the early weeks of Uni. You forget I'll be new whereever I end up. It'll have to be late October, or November if I did it.

I'm actually thinking that the window has closed for such a meet-up because of the lack of interest generated here and also because I will only organize one if there is enough interest in it.

Unless I see a change in proceedings, I will drop it like a lead balloon and go back into my box. However, if anyone wants to arrange a meet-up: Be my guest. I might actually go then.

I have to say, that's bizarre logic. You'd never meet anyone that way.

Make one. How did you think me, boris no no or kagga ever did it? Not by magic. Put out the word and then contact people. Be serious about it, and I'm sure it'll work.

It's already happening over a two week period in Edinburgh. 8-) Kyono, Chaos, boris no no, smittenkitten, Brian The Pink Shark, Shauna and myself... party at my place. =] Literally!

But yeah, I can't afford to travel anywhere right now. :( I'm still trying to find the cash to go to Dan's place at Christmas.

I don't think boris no no is going. Check her LJ BoB.
