Hi I am Making a FF7 Fan Game with RPG Maker 2003. Alot of People have tried to make a Fan Fan Game and they always abandon there projects , but I wont leave my project because I have all the time in the world to work on it. All I need is some encouragement from you guys and if anyone has any Rm2k3 Experience let me know, because I need all the help I can get. If that's a custom battle system, it's very nice (I recall everyone used to not be able to make those or something...I don't know, I never used RPG maker).

Good luck, you might want to get some backgrounds that look alike...the style of the backdrops varies and some look very empty. Work on that.

Let me Explain the Story Line: I am pretending the movie didnt happen and Making it the way I wanted som here it goes. Some Scientist are sent to collect Sephiroth DNA from the Crater and Start a Cloning Process So they are going to clone sephiroth. of course theres alot more but Thats just the main plot and if your wondering why Destiny Island is in this game its because There is this part where cloud Finds a portal or something like that and gets teleported to destiny Island where apparently the hearless have returned.

I'll try for the project and I'll accept being turned down after attempts. I'll learn to do things when I really want to do them. Im looking at your project very positively. I think it looks very well done. I'll work on a few and shall post them later.:D Ill pm them to you that way I wont clutter your project page here with junk rather Ill tell you decide personally if you will accept them and use them on display and in actuall game play. I always wanted to be a part of a fan game.

I must say, for a fangame it looks interesting...

pros:
lovely exterior maps ^-^ and the temple is pretty to ^-^

cons and possible cons:
its a fangame, many people have made and completed a fangame based on FFVII.
The sprites and monsters look a little generic towards eachother, differant forms of purdyness.
a tip, dont say this is the story "its a unique story based on sephiroth looking for his mother"

i've beaten it twice and the first time i was too young to pay attention to the story, i leant it to someone and i started it again when i got it back, but then when i got to disk 3 there was some glitch so i souldn't leave the highwind, so i probably couldn't help you much there.

I agree with the bold parts the most. Usually, these fangames always suck because its already based on an existing idea, and people have seen it all before. They judge the maker to be a noob/not an organized thinker. But who knows? Maybe this guys fangame will be better.
