I'm still Rank one!

I started in windrust and im a lvl 24 rdm 5 whm and i'm still rank one. I tried to do the first mission in the outer horotoro ruins but there are so many towers and they are all outer horotoro ruins and i dont even understand wat i am supposed to do. I died twice trying to do it and i find it to hard to kill so many cards on wheels things (three of clubs etc..) without area damaging spells! I need some help cuz i really want to ride an airship!!! And im not willing to pay

1 Walkthrough

After accepting the mission, go to the Orastery in Port Windurst and talk to Hakkuru-Rinkuru (E-7).
Head to East Sarutabaruta and go to the entrance to the Inner Horutoto Ruins at J-7.
Before entering, talk to the guard standing before the entrance.
Upon entering the Ruins, you will be in the Lily Tower. Go down the stairs until you come to the main room.
Circle around the room and look for the crack in the center of the south wall at H-9 (if you see dirt instead of brick floors, you've taken the wrong cracked wall opening).
Enter and go left. Click on the door at I-9 to watch another cut scene with the Minister.
Next, search the four different Magical Gizmos until you find the cracked one (random for each party member). Take the key item you recieve back to Hakkuru-Rinkuru in the Orastery to complete the mission.

Mission Orders
The minister of the Orastery in conducting an experiment in the eastern magic tower of the Horutoto Ruins, located in East Sarutabaruta. Inquire at the Orastery first, then go asist him.

No ... use Blm for Aoe elemental spells ... well u get diaga as rdm ... thats it. i am 52 rdm thats all i got for AOE right now .

check somepage ... i use that the most. :)

I'm a hume and I did the Horutoto mission. ;)

Anyway, I think it's really important not to leave your hometown for the dunes before you even accomplish rank 2. I'd get on that in a hurry if I were you.

well... the typical starting city for a hume is ussually the nation it is reccomended towards... so I based the whole humey thing on the nation.... but really I am still wrong because its a Hume/Galka based nation.
