Hey guys, this is a neat little 'shooter' game (though you're really blowing yourself up) that I've had for quite some time. The guys at Q Entertainment (Lumines, Rez, etc) are re-making it for the PSP as 'EveryExtendExtra', but you get the original game here for free.

It's totally legal. No worries about piracy.

It's an lzh file, which shouldn't be a problem if you use WinRar. Winzip requires something extra which you may or may not already have, and may or may not install automatically.

You use the arrows to move the cursor around, and Z to blow yourself up (I think. I can't do it at work). Small formations of things will float across the screen and will kill you if you collide with them (and will cost you 5 seconds), but if you blow yourself up, you blow them up too. It also causes chain reactions when you blow up, so the higher chain you get, the more points. Also, some bigger 'enemies' cannot be destroyed unless they are caught in a chain of a particular number or more.
As you blow up people, they'll leave power-ups in their wake: 'Quicken' which makes you faster, stuff that increases your time limit, etc.

Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty darn fun. There's an official demo of 'EveryExtendExtra' floating around the net (it's a PC demo, despite the fact it's gonna be a PSP game) so you can try that out too. Depending how much the PSP version costs, I will probably pick it up. I'm a big fan of Q's style of games so I'm looking forward to the synaesthesia (http://www.gamasutra.com/features/20050506/hawkins_01.shtml).
