Okay, so I'm having problems with my CPU Usage, which seems to be lagging my games. It starts out low, and then like 10 minutes later it rockets to the 80's-90's, which I noticed lags my games. How do I make it stop going extremely high? Its like a cycle, low, high, low, etc.

You could open Task Manager (right click taskbar, Task Manager) and see what the offending process eating all the CPU cycles is :p

Well, I don't really know what this means, but when I click on the processes tab at the bottom it says:

Processes: 53 CPU Usage: (%) Commit Charge: 482M/1228M

Is this bad?

53 processes is a lot. I have about 33 open right now. What all are they?

I don't know what half of those are...

So, some of those have my username next to them, and the others have SYSTEM. Should I delete the ones that aren't SYSTEM? And I noticed that "System Idle Process" has a CP of up to 92...

EDIT: Also, I noticed that svchost.exe is in there like 5 or 6 times. What the hell is that thing?

I hope you typoed the first one: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=msnmesgr.exe

It's normal to have several instances of svchost

I'm rather concerned that you use Real Player xD

And quite a few of the services seem to be for wireless interneting.

Well, the Yahoo widget engine is probably one offender :P I hear those widgets go crazy on your resources.

Rubah: Yeah, I typoed that :p

And Hsu: Okay, I'll try deleting that one.

What else is going wrong?
