Sometimes I go up in elevators; sometimes I go down.

What's better: up or down?

Both are equally enjoyable. When going down, the blood rushes to your head at the beginning of the ride and to your feet at the end. Vice versa for the ride up.

Did you think hard enough, oddler? This is a tricky one. I'll have to think some more before I give you my final answer.

Down. Positive g-forces are much more fun than negative ones. :)

Depends which way I'm going. It's obviously not very good to go upstairs when meaning to go downstairs.

When I want to go up, I go up
When I want to go down, I go down
When I want to stay right where I am
I go neither up nor down

Up. Down sucks. Down has nothing on up.

Both of them are terrible I hate elevators muchly. They make me sick. I'll go ahead and say down, though, cause I dunno why. Hannibal.

No, I refuse to think anymore. Nobody else does, and they ignore me when I do.

Hey Zeldy! I'm not talking about lifts; I'm talking about elevators! There's a bIG difference! :mad2:

*Tries to contrive reasons why a lift is different than an elevator...

Up. Down sucks. Down has nothing on up.
Haha. But it does. For you see, what goes up, must come down. :p

Me, I like the feeling when you are going up and then you go just a little to far, and then the elevator goes back down a few feet. Cool feelings. And then there is down. Weeeeeeeeeeeee.

Going down in an elevator is just pointless. It's easy to go down stairs.
You got up in the elevator because you are too lazy to go up the stairs!

I have a friend who refuses going down in an elevator :)

up, because elevator accidents often go down, just crashing and burning...

And that's all my thinking for today.

I like going up, because the thrill of anticipation of getting somewhere, and the joy of being high up in the air fill the atmosphere!

Glass elevators are win, btw.

If you go down you have less chance of death when the elie crashes.

Going up is suicide,.

I try to avoid using elevators if I can. Over a period of time walking up stairs will get me a significant amount of exercise done and not a minute of my own time used up.

As for elevators I'd probably say going up is easier since the feeling it imposes on your head is not as queasy as the one experienced whilst going down

The slight rush you get of going down is better than the uncomfortable feeling of going up.

Elevators scare me, I'd rather use the stairs.

But if I have horribly heavy luggage I suppose I'll take the elevator going up. Up because it would be extremely difficult to go up the stairs, thus going up on an elevator is nothing. Also I'm lazy and walking up the stairs hurts my legs, so to save me from that uncomfortable soreness in the morning, I'd go up the elevator. BUT I live with elevators in my building and I don't use them.

Listen, man, don't let them do this to you. Up, down, all around -- it's all the same. When my father went to Amsterdam, he brought me back stroopwaffles too, but I didn't let that scare me away from the elevator. You gotta fight the boss and make him give you a pay-rise. This muffin you made sucks.

Down.

Down the hole
Down the coaster
Down the drain
Down with love
Down your mom

But up sounds better.

Up the hole
Up the coaster
Up the drain
Up with love
Up your dad...

down, since right before the elevator stabilizes by going up about an inch, you jump! and then you have that momentum that makes you jump about 5 feet high, plus its fun! ^^
