So apparently it's out in 5 days here...although the release date has fallen back multiple times.. ;__; Is it REALLY coming out in 5 days? Is anyone else in the UK been waiting for what seems like forever.? Ohh I'm getting so excited now if it really is....

Why does it take so long? Square are being a bunch of pricks about release dates outside of Japan and the US. They always have been. It's pathetic, that's why I'm importing the games because it's a waste of time and a waste of hope waiting for something that is 70% likely to be pushed back to some release date we may never see. 6 months to convert a game from NTSC to PAL? That's what i call lazy, news to you, it's not your job to be lazy idiots. That's ours! Don't steal it! I'm pretty pissed at them in this department as you may see, so don't go getting all posessive, It's only the department of releasing games in the UK about 6-7 months after the US release.

I agree with Shoden, although I think one thing that makes the PAL releases so late is that they have to translate and maybe even dub the game into several other languages, such as French, German and some others. I think it's a waste of time since I'd rather just play the English version (even though I'm Finnish, not English).

Anyway, I've heard "late autumn 2006" for KH2 PAL, so I'd be guessing November. Predicting the worst case scenario is quite reasonable for SE's European releases, and you'll most likely be less disappointed if/when the releases get delayed. ;)

The longer they delay it, the more time we have to put it up on the frontsite. Thank God there's at least one nice American helping to make sure coverage for the game is in tip top shape at EoFF (by American I mean Spatvark). But you guys will probably get more uber extra secret bosses. Like always.

That has only happened once (FFX) out of every Square game ever released in PAL regions :mad2:

That's not true. It has only happened in FFX, and I found the Dark Aeons more nuisance than a nice addition because they kept blocking my way everywhere. KH PAL was exactly the same as KH NTSC, so I'd be assuming the same for KH2 PAL... although I wish SE remade the voices for Port Royal world with Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. :D

According to HMV and Amazon.uk, both FFXII and KH2 came out xmas 2004. It is AMAZING how nobody in the uk has completed it yet.:D

I'll get it the next time I visit my parents since I'm keeping my PS2 at home, not in my student apartment. That will be in about two weeks, I guess. A Finnish review I saw said KH2 is quite an unoriginal game, and the reviewers were really annoyed at the game having so much cutscenes, so they thought the game almost felt more like a movie than a game. I didn't see international online reviews complaining about that, though, especially when I'm quite sure you can skip cutscenes with Pause + Square, and on average, the reviews have been a lot more positive than the one done by the Finnish reviewers.

I love cut scenes, and reviewers know nothing anyway because this is KINGDOM HEARTS. (and the reviews I read of the first game were done by people who didn't seem to have even played it) I haven't been looking up anything about the game and all I know is very vague details so it will be even more exciting. But mostly just seeing Sora and Kairi again :D

I pre-ordered it awhile back from Gameswarehouse.com.au, they are really such a great online company within Australia, IMO. Anyways, today (27th) their website says they now have stock in, so I should get it tomorrow if they shipped it off today. =D

Actually, I recieved an email from them with my invoice, and them telling me it has been shipped off. The release date on their site is the 28th, and it'll arrive at my place on the 28th (i.e. Tomorrow).
