I got myself into a bit of a flame war with someone on YouTube. He has no argument himself but because I keep coming across as this...really NICE person, I can't really see myself winning this. It's not the first time it's happened either ^^"

Anyway, I'm not going to say much more on the matter. This thread's about you. :love:. Are you good at arguing?

I hate arguing, so I try to avoid doing so. However, I can argue well if the subject of the argue is something I know front and back. Otherwise, if not, I just say some random things to get my point across. xP

If I am right and I know im right, I'd go pretty far. Sometimes you cant argue with Ignorance, say if someone just states that im wrong every time without proof, then I'd give up to not waste any more time.

But i love argueing with people as long as they dont take it to seriously. I love to argue even when i know im wrong but that makes it fun especially if im wrong and i get others to belive me thats the best.

I have an older brother i always get into fights with and i would get frustrated that i would loose all the time, but that turned out to be good for me. Most things at school that would bother other people just brush by me sometimes i get used but i dont mind in the end the ones who just use their plan never work so i just enjoy the ride aslong as it doesn't hurt my friends.

But that things dont bother me anymore and in like five minutes i can get over a bad mood ive been winning all my arguements with others including my brother which is great i love seeing him get mad that his younger sister outsmarted him. Yeah!:)

Not the best, I tend to think of good points after the fact. Also I tend to see both sides of the argument. The only thing I hate is arguing with self-rightuous people who think they are right even if you prove them wrong.

No, you're wonderful at it!! You did not get into a flame war at YouTube!! You don't come across as nice at all, and there is no way you'll win!! This is most certainly the first time it's happened!!

I'm terrible at arguing. I have a pretty bad temper as well, so that makes it worse. But what normally happens is I can never find the right words, so my view normally comes off completely differnet, and I end up looking more stupid than I actually am. Which is saying alot. :(

I'm pretty good at arguing, especially with stubborn idiots. Just always keep calm and talk with purpose and reason. Turn their idiocy against them, just like judo but with words.
Example Insult: HAHA HA!!!1! **** *** noob ****er!!!!, etc.
Example Response: Most of the civilized world does'nt seem to think so. Maybe you don't fit into that category.

If you do it well, they will probably just insult you again. Providing facts helps too, but never, ever yell back.

With reasonable arguments against reasonable people, just state your side of the argument and defend it with reason and fact.
