Apprently this game is aweful, I just read a review from GR ( Game-Revolution ). I was kind of looking foward to this one, however since the dev's half-assd it, the game isn't worth my hard earned cash. Heres a tid bid from the review.

"Why actually review Ninety-Nine Nights when I can recreate the experience for you right now? Just put your thumb on any key of the keyboard. Got it? Comfy? Now, using that thumb, press the key. Done? Did it feel all right?

hmmm, looks like the Onimusha game I hired today, but... prettier.

I downloaded the demo: it was aweful. What a waste of such a pretty game.

Microsoft Game Studios seems to be batting a thousand when it comes to first-party 360 games. :rolleyes2

It's deeper than Dynasty Warriors, but that's about it. I was looking forward to this when I heard about it at first, but the demo didn't impress me at all. Apparently the full game is just as disappointing.
The game isn't "bad", just disappointingly average.

It got a 31/40 from Famitsu though...

I'm not surprised this game isn't getting favourable feedback, it never looked good to me, anything in the same vein as Dynasty Warriors isn't going to be too great anyway. I haven't played it (yet?), but it doesn't look like I'm wrong about it.

Played the demo for five minutes and proceeded to delete it off the hard drive.

I guess Mizuguchi is better off sticking to psychedelic rhythm puzzle shooters.

I played the demo on the 360 and I loved it. Probably because I love Dynasty Warriors and N3 has about 10x the enemies to kill so in one battle I got over 4000 kills.
But I hear the full game only has 7 playable characters and few levels so I probably won't be getting it.

I thought the demo was pretty damn fun, especially when you got into the huge armies and unleashed some pretty devestating combos and special moves. But judging by how little the game will vary from that formula, it would get old far too quickly. Not worth the money.

I downloaded the demo and it is an extremely impressive game. The graphics and the fact that the 360 can handle that many individual characters on screen at once is amazing. Other than that, the main let-down is the gameplay. I'd buy it for half the price of the RRP.
I love my 360.
