Picture a demented and depressing twist of events where you, your three disc cd-changer, and the volleyball soon to be best friend in your room are all warped mysteriously onto a small island. What three CDs would you like to have in there to listen to until a boat or other form of rescue comes to get you?

Personally, I'd like to have Radiohead's Kid A, Guided By Voices' Do The Collapse, and the solo rap album made by Fieldy from KoRn so that the other two would sound so much better. ;)

Ideally, I'd take mix CD's, but if forced to stick with proper albums, I'd choose:

The Offspring - Ignition
ORIGA - The Best of...
Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley

It would have to be....
1. Pink Floyd - Pulse (both discs)
2. Led Zeppelin: Best of Early Days and Latter Days
3. And the last one would either be Blackwater Park - Opeth or Trivium - Ascendancy (the special edition one with the MoP cover)

Radiohead - OK Computer (Kid A was good for awhile, some songs were too close to techno then rock)

Alkaline Trio - Crimson

NoFX - Greatest Hits (A stripped CD I will make of their already greatest hits but stripped of the songs I dont like)

Why did when I read the title I thought this was a new song by Chuck Berry.

Radiohead - "OK Computer"
A modern classic. Sure it's the Radiohead album everyone likes, but everyone likes it because it's really that good.

Madvillain - "Madvillainy"
The best underground MC (MF DOOM) meets the best underground producer (Madlib). The result is the best indie rap you can get.

The Who - "Who's Next"/Reel Big Fish - "Turn the Radio Off"
Well I can't decide if I want my third to be a classic rock fix or a ska fix. Either way, these are some of the top examples of each genre for me.

Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits (I memorized the lyrics to the whole album), Royal Scam by Steely Dan, and Who's Next by The Who.

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon!

Manic Street Preachers - Forever Delayed
Why not?
