Did anyone else experience this stuff?
I mean, the graphics in my copy always seemed to turn into black spaces, and if I tried flying into them, they stopped me.
The only thing that solved the problem was entering/exiting the airship's interior, and then it disappeared for a few seconds, before reappearing again.
It sucked like hell; as a matter of fact I rammed the discs in the floor a while ago, and ordered a new copy. :rolleyes2

ive heard of this glitch. its never happened to me though. how big are these black patches? ive heard that if you stay near them or above them for too long the game crashes or something. its nothing to worry about. i dont think theres anything wrong with your disk and if there is something wrong with it its probably not serious.

i think it happens if your disc is scratched and also if you are playin through a ps2 and you have used cheats on a different game the playstation goes crazy....black patches appear then as the thing cant read the discs...

Nah if your in your airship on disk 3 flying around the world map. If you attempt to go from one side of the map to another then it messes up. This is just because disk 3 dosen't have the abillity to fly from corner to corner.

Ive flown across on disc 3 and I never got the patches of black. Mabey you did something in the game to activate the glitch.

I never use cheats or anything, because I'm too lazy to purchase a Gameshark device. :p
I think it was just some scratched disc, because my new copy works perfectly fine.

I couldn't say, because I only cheat by "legit" means on the PC version.
And by that, I mean editing my savegame which prevents glitches :P
