Post your school/college schedule. I just got mine today and here it is.

Note: Regents are what we call regular classes in Noo Yoik.

1st Period: US Hist/Govt Regents
2nd Period: Honours Choir
3rd Period: Math III R
4th Period: English 11 Adv
5th Period: Health (1st semester)/ SAT Prep (2nd Semester)
6th Period: Draw & Paint 2
7th Period: Lunch
8th Period: Gym (A Day)/Chem R Lab (B Day)
9th Period: Chemistry Regents

The only thing wrong with this schedule is that they put me for Chemistry Regents instead of Chemistry Advanced like I signed up for (I still dunno why they didn't put me in because I was recommended for it, and I got a 94-96 average last year in Bio xD), but I may just stick with having a normal Chem class, because it'll just make my GPA sexier.

Environmental Science AP
German 4 AP
Newspaper
Government/Econ

Yeah, but they're only 45 minutes each. I think most states have around 6 or 7 periods, but they're around an hour each? :p In any case, next year I'll be a senior and since I've been saving up all my study halls and I'll have a car to drive home early with, I'll only be taking 5 or 6 classes as well. :jess:

11.00AM : Nothing
1:00PM : Food, then nothing
5:00~7:00PM : More food, still nothing
1:00AM : Sleep

Repeat.

When I get around to actually doing something, I'll let you know.

I wish I knew. The list I got in the mail is really messed up. They put something on twice, a course that I took during the summer, and they're missing a course that I signed up for.

Other than that
Math, Functions 3U
Physics 3U
Chemistry 3U
Intro to Anthro and Psychology
Leadership
Drama 3U

I don't know which semester or anything.

Same as Emma, mine will have different lessons on different days in different order. Lunch is always the same time for everybody, and a new policy is taking place next year, only 5 lessons a day but lasting for an hour instead of our usual of 6 lessons lasting 50 minutes.

But for the next 2 years my lessons will be:

Maths (Cumpulsory)
Science (Cumpulsory)
English (Cumpulsory) I <33 English
History (Why OH why did I choose HISTORY?)
Art
Sociology
Food Technology (I couldn't cook to save my life, but Textiles and Graphics are NOT AN OPTION)
PE (Cumpulsory)
PSE (Cumpulsory)

Oh I forgot RE which is also cumpulsory.

That happened with my school. In Year 7 I had six fifty-five minute lessons a day, and now I have five one hour lessons and a shorter lunch.

And the subjects I have next year are Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Music, Geography, Welsh, French (all GCSEs) and Maths AS. :p

All my classes are 45 minutes long, but the period system my school uses is weird.

P1 - AP US History
P2 - free, Independent Study in Comp Sci
P3 - Religion 11 (I could do this class drunk off my ass, and still get a 100 average)
P4/5 - Honours World Lit (44 minutes)
P8/9 - Honours Pre-Calc (44 minutes)
P10 - Honors Spanish 3
P11/12 - AP Chemistry (90 minutes)

Apparently, they say that AP Chemistry is the hardest class at my school. I think they are right, but it's not the material that's in question. It's the teacher.

Nine classes a day would hurt my brain. Over here, there is a max of 4 periods - but each class goes for two hours.

My schedule is complicated because each day my classes are different.

Monday: Political and Legal Studies, Human Bio and Early Childhood Studies (Period 2, 3 and 4).
Tuesday: English 2A & 2B (Like advanced English) and Digital Media (Period 1 and 3).
Wednesday: History, Human Biology and English (Period 1, 2 and 4).
Thursday: Political and Legal Studies and Early Childhood (Period 1 and 2).
Friday: Digital Media and History (Period 1 and 2).

I sit through 12 classes a week - each class is 2 hours long. I'm glad I only have 1 more year of school left.

Okay, here it goes! Wait, let me explain. We have core classes, not periods, at my school. It's like, there are four core classes in one day. But there's actually 5 core classes in total. They rotate the classes, so that way, you don't have the last class of that day. Like...You have core 4 class last today. Tomorrow, you won't have it, and core 5 class will take it's place. Yeah. It's really messed up, but after a bit, it's easy to understand.

Core 1 - Honors Spanish I
Core 2 - Chemistry(science)
Core 3 - World Cultures(social studies)
Core 4 - Advanced English
Core 5 - Honors Algebra I

My encore classes switch every quarter, so this quarter, I have health. Yay STD education. =/ Gym doesn't count, really.

Geez, I only had four classes in a day when I was in high school, and they changed every semester. It was much better that way.

Mondays: GLY 108 (lecture) and REL 301
Wednesdays: GLY 108 (lab) and CSC 104
Thursdays: ENG 211

Block schedule vs. period scheduling. I prefer it the way mine is, because I have one class that is technically block-style (it takes three periods) and I get crazy bored in there. Heck, most of the time my normal-length classes feel like there's more time there than we use to any productive means.

My school has a block schedule, in which you have three periods a day, with two different blocks that alternate every other day. For example, if I have one block ("A" Block) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I'll have the other ("B" Block) Tuesday and Thursday. The next week will start on Monday with the "B" Block.

"A" Block
8:30 AM - 10:10 AM: Advanced Placement English 12
10:10 AM - 10:50 AM: Tutorial (Free Period for studying/goofing off)
10:50 AM - 12:25 PM: In Work Experience (Teachers Aide/Homework time)
12:25 PM - 1:10 PM: Lunch
1:10 PM - 1:25 PM: Sustained Silent Reading
1:25 PM - 3:00 PM: Art II

"B" Block
8:30 AM - 10:10 AM: Physics
10:10 AM - 10:50 AM: Tutorial (Free Period for studying/goofing off)
10:50 AM - 12:25 PM: Govenment/Economics (each is a one semester class)
12:25 PM - 1:10 PM: Lunch
1:10 PM - 1:25 PM: Sustained Silent Reading
1:25 PM - 3:00 PM: Advanced Placement Statistics

On Wednesdays everything is shortened a little so we get out at 2:00 PM. I have no idea why, but I'm not going to complain.

I had the best high school schedule. Three classes, out by 1:30 every day.
