View Full Version : Where do you buy your clothes (Favorite Store)

Simple. Where do you like to buy your stuff.

My favorite stores are Hollister, Abercombie, American Eagle, & Aeropastel. It's just good clothing for any type of person. Especially if you like clubbing which my brother loves so he got me into it. I have a shirt and a pair of shoes from Pac Sun but it's an ok store.

Also what do you think has the worst clothes? I think Hot Topic sucks. Stupid goths.

I have such a diverse and strange taste in clothes that everything comes from a different place.
But, I am planning to look in Top Man for some new clothes.

Yeah, random places, really. But for jeans -- ONLY LEVIS. I  Levis.

I'm not particularly picky. I like G&G, Mandees, Kohl's (I get major discounts there because my Mom works there) for jeans and such. I also like Hot Topic, for their hilarious t-shirts, and I don't consider myself a "goth" or whatever. Way to generalize.

You get some good stuff off ebay. It isn't expensive either, my Dad buys a lot of stuff off of there.

Doesn't really matter what the place is to me, as long as I find clothes in there that I like that is. Although, for music stuff (t-shirts and that sort of thing) I generally will go to the band in question's website or ebay.

Afflecks Palace in Manchester before it became super expensive, Primark, George, TU (Sainsburys) and TK Max. Charity shops have some wicked bargins too! And I also use catalogues.

Ive heard of Afflecks! My friend got me Rasmus badges from there xD
Have you heard of Quiggins? Its in Liverpool. Its shut down now like, but It'd be awesome if you'd heard of it.

Topshop and Newlook have some nice stuff, they cost a fortune. I bought Jeans for £40 there and a Tshirt for £22. Thats a hell of a lot, but they are nice :)

I get my stuff online. I have a hoodie coming from Verkoppaita.

Threadless, Ebay, Backstreet Merch... :D Other than that, I don't have particular stores, I'll mix and match from various places if I see something I like... I quite like the Animal store too but I spent sooo much there one time >_<

I don't really have a worst store, but I hate FCUK clothing (omg it nearly says a swearword, how witty!) or things with Playboy symbols on. Yeah you're hot. Not.

Yes, but they always shorten it to FCUK. Ive seen so many tshirts with "Lets FCUK"

Didn't it get banned once? Im sure it did.

Wal-Mart and Fred Meyers all the way man. All the way. And come on, don't be hating Hot Topic just because you think it is for goths. From the sounds of it, you seem 'preppy'. No offence intended. But I happen to know lots of people who shop at Hot Topic and are not goth nor emo.

Sunny Day Suicide

What can I say. I like preppy clothing. But I like other things too like ripped jeans and such. I'm not just preppy.

I've always like Old Navy for some reason.

Jowy
08-27-2006, 08:53 PM
Old Navy for jeans, Hot Topic for clearance t-shirts, Salvation Army for various kitschy things, Payless for shoes (airwalks for the win), and usually JC Penney's for professional attire.

I get most of my clothes from Target, Forever 21, or Old Navy. I like Hot Topic, but it's overpriced so I'll only get something there if I really want it or it's on sale. I also like thrift stores and eBay, but shopping those places can be a lot of work.

I refuse to buy expensive clothes, especially shoes. My most expensive shoes I have I bought for my wedding, and they were $35 on eBay.

I like Hollister alright, but they don't make much in my size. I'm 140 pounds and I wear and extra large there for christsake. I refuse to shop at A&F because I find the company morally disturbed. I also love Urban Outfitters, but they're stupid expensive so I only buy things there on sale.

Oxfam is obviously the best place to buy clothes. Along with various other charity shops. They're cheap, and quite often, fashionable.

I shop at Target, Jcpenny's, Kohl's, Old Navy, American Eagle (mainly for jeans) and Forever 21

Urban Outfitters. Like Shlup said, it can be depressingly expensive. But I love it. It's too cute for me to stay away from. Old Navy is also nice, and PacSun too.

Thrift stores. :D I'm serious. You can get some nice things without going bankrupt.

I go into alot of clothes stores and buy things that appeal to me. Stores that I regularily find clothes I like in are thrift stores, Urban Outfitters, and 2face Clothing. If I had the cash I would totally buy all my shoes from Laced.

My favorite store is Hot Topic but my mom won't let me go there.

And come on, don't be hating Hot Topic just because you think it is for goths.

Yeah, that. Alot of non-goths that I know shop there. And just because someone is goth, or shops at Hot Topic doesn't make them stupid either.

Oh, you're opinion, my opinion. They're different. I just find people stupid in general to be what their not. There's no such thing as a goth nowadays is my message.

It depends, cause I go almost everywhere when I go to the mall :p I got to Wet Seal, Hot Topic (great hoodies and band tees! But my mom doesnt let me go cause she thinks Ill become goth if I buy from there :rolleyes2. I usually go buy when she isnt around.), Old Navy, and lots of other places. Sometimes Macy's when my mom picks out stuff for me.

American Eagle is probably my favorite place to shop. I used to work there too.

Urban Outfitters I go to only once in awhile when they have a sale, but I buy tons of clothes during those sales. Plus, I really like getting apartment stuff from there too.

Forever 21 and Nordstroms are also favorites.
