I've never really watched it. I guess it hasn't been able to catch my attention.

Im kinda werid with 24. I watched bits of the second, third and last season. But I liked the older episodes then the new. Keifer Sutherland is great as Jack. My ex is a huge fan and I even bought a 24 CTU: Counter Terrorist Unit patch!

>=( I was so disappointed with the lack of Emmys LOST was nominated for! If I remember correctly, it got like...one. For Henry Ian Cusick or something. How disappointing! I'm disgusted, Emmy board! :mad2:

You mean the constant drone of every single person on the planet about how cool Jack Baeur is doesn't constitute towards the show being significant? How exactly does the nod of approval from some awards body stop the baffling worship of the show?

Too bad 24 had to win the one year that the Emmy's decided to switch up their voting system and cause an uproar within the industry for snubbing very obviously talented shows and actors and nominating people who just plain suck.

Um. But 24 is a very good show. Good for them.

Season 5 was much better than Season 4 or 3...

Delighted that they won, but I think that Gregory Itzin should've got the best supporting actor award. He was fantastic as the bumbling and ultimately evil President of America.

Football > 24

24 isn't even original. The whole 'real time' thing? Football did it first.

Yeah, but the loud, echoing ticking of the 24 clock? "tick-dum, tock-dum, tick-dum, tock-dum". Do you get that in football?

No! All you get is a referee with a whistle. The 24 clock > a referee's whistle.

I only saw the first season, I think? Well, that was pretty interesting, I suppose. :cat:

My aunt and uncle keep talking about how good it is, but whenever I try to watch it, I just get bored. It isn't really an interesting show compared to House, Prison Break, American Idol, etc. Even That's So Raven is better than 24 and we all know how BAD that show is.

The following post takes place between 6:42:39 and 6:42:52.

24 rocks, but I don't think it was the best drama this year. I thought Prison Break was better, but no one cares about that show. Anyway, it was kind of weird that Lost wasn't up for anything. 24 should have won in it's first season, so this is good as a makeup award.

The countdown made 24 what it is. Its brillaint.

24 really deserves that award. I'm glad. And yes, I would have put Prison Break as a close second, though I haven't finished watching it yet.

I have never watched 24. The idea never really interested me enough to warrant such a thing. I hardly ever watch television anymore though, so that might be another reason.

I don't really trust the Emmy Awards, or other shows for that matter. Was Veronica Mars nominated for anything?

Veronica Mars? Man that show is so ... yawn. IMO anyway!
