This guy was the lead singer / guitarist of the 15 year or so running The Tea Party until they broke up last year. He's now doing solo work through Ireland and Australia and released a new album called Exile and the Kingdom.

Does anyone here like Jeff Martin / The Tea Party? What do you think of his latest album? Personally I love it, I think Jeff is an amazing musician. His guitar skills are simply excellent as well is his ability to experiment beyond western culture -- he's actually quite talented on the oud and the sitar among other eastern instruments. He's also one of the few to be handed one of the most beautiful guitars -- the Gibson harp-guitar (http://www.vintageinstruments.com/photos/inst25/1919styleuful.jpg).

You can always check out stuff about him on his MySpace (like most bands thesedays) or at his website (and The Tea Party's website for that matter). But it's all defenately worth a listen to! Some songs to watch out for are Coming Home, Psychopomp, The Badger, Winter Solstice, Lament, The Kingdom, Halcyon Days, Fire in the Head -- among many other brilliant songs.

Edit: Here are some music clips on YouTube, you can always search for more on there.
