The End?

My girlfriend was sitting next to me fighting against ultima weapon and he kept light pillaring her and hitting for 9999 damage. She was getting frustrated and selphie got her limit break. She was scrolling through the slots and saw one called The End x 1. She did it and Ultima was in a green field with flowers and butterflies then all of the sudden he dissapears and he dies. This happens about 5 min. into the fight right after she drew Eden!!! I just thought this was sweet and decided to share this will you all.

the end is supposed to beat every enemy on the game apart from ultimecia. but its incredibly rare. ive never seen it. sounds like a really cool looking move. id always imagined it looking a bit more destructive like a black hole or something but the flower thing sounds pretty awesome.

The End also doesn't work on undead monsters. The best way to get it is when Selphie is at 1 HP, I was fortunate to have been able to use it on Omega Weapon

I've managed to get 'The End' a total of four times in all. The first time I got it was on Ultimecia, so naturally it didn't do a thing. I've actually got it near the begining of the game as well.....can't remember exactly where but it was definatly before the Missle Base mission. So it's possible to get it at any time.

i'll play on the game again, get into an easy battle. put the enemy to sleep and be patient until i get the end. this is something i really should see. ive seen full cure, wall and rapture but never the end.

I can safely say that this is incorrect. The End definetly works on Omega Weapon, I remember executing it on him to this very day

I remember of watching a video on YouTube, of Selphie using The End against Omega. I think that you still can see it, if you search in YouTube.

Yes the End does work on Omega Weapon. But to make The End come up more often than usual is increase selphies luck. Junction 100 Auras or something.

Open your disc tray while shuffling through selphie's limits. It'll repeat the animation sequences in memory while you have time to look, when you find it, put it back in and choose :p

I had it once on my PC game a long time ago. It came up quite a lot after I used it the first time. But you know the status screen where you can see a list of Selphies limit breaks? well I remember I clicked on The End once I had it and after that it just came up more frequently. Whether that has anything to do with it or not, I dont know. Its quite cool to see from what I remember. All those flowers......

ive tried twice against a single bite bug. i have 100 pains junctioned to luck and tonberrys luck+50% ability but i still cant get it. first try i casted sleep and slow on the bite bug, when it woke up it put one of my characters into beserk and that character killed the bite bug before i could use the end. the second try, gilgamesh came and kill the bite bug. its as if somethings stopping me from ever seeing the end.

im trying again with selphie at 250/6000HP with high luck and aura. any other things that determine the chances of rare moves other than luck and how low HP is? ive seen full cure and wall tons of time and have seen a lot of raptures but not a single end. wish me luck.

You should get your HP lower than 250 and carry on trying. Or watch the video.

im getting HP as low as i can. i think i could make it lower. the problem is, gilgamesh keeps on coming and killing the enemies. i'll carry on trying.

I've seen it three times. And yeah, it doesn't wortk on undeads because I couldn't use it to kill Gerogero.

After beating the game a few time, I've developed a quick way to beat Omega, requires Selphie in the party, and that's it. (You'll also need Aura or Aura stone and Eden on another character)

make sure you don't die to LVL5 death, then quicly get one character to Aura Selphie, and another to summon Eden (you can also get the other non-Selphie character to summon something) and once the animation for eden stars, you have a few minues to get The End in Selphie slots, which I find is more than enough at lvl 100 with aura on, against Omega (Unless you're very unlucky)
I've actually passed it once and still been able to get it again before Eden was finished; once Eden's animation is done (doing some large amount of (insignificant) damage) The End will be cast, as Limits take priority over anything else that isn't already being used, here's the result: (I did a few other things this time, which is why one of the members is at 0)

It doesn't matter who the other characters are, but if you MUST know, they are Squall and Rinoa


Now take a look at where "The End" takes place, seem familiar? well, I think that it's a 'Good' base for many new 'theorys', but then again, it might mean something.

"The end" takes place on a green plain sort of thing but it isn't the flower field on the centra continent. it could be part of the world or just a random place.

It's designed to suit Selphie's personality.(IMO)

Selphie is a carefree person that likes to do whatever she wants. Therefore, when reading a story book, one would presume that she would always want to see a happy ending or she'll end up tearing the book to pieces before saying "I HATE SAD ENDINGS!! GIMME A HAPPY ENDING!!"

And, the sea of flowers can actually bring out the feel as though you are in a fairy tale. It was a happy ending, like "Everyone lived happily ever after. THE END."

And there you have it, THE END. That means ending something. So, even Omega will bow to a happy ending. Of course this is just my theory.

Yes I tried that before but didn't have the patience to wait and find The End. :D And to me it's sorta like cheating. :mad:

Wow so that's what The End looks like... Cool!!! :jess: I never used it before, but I had a lot of chances to. Whenever it showed up on the screen, I would be so used to pushing Do Over so many times that I would accidently push the button again. :eep: :mad:

Yeah that's really cool...it makes sense though, cuz the beginning and end of the game takes place in the flower field. :heart: :kaolove2:

from the mountains I would say it was actually more to do with Balamb island, because the rocks of the centra continent are a red/brown colour with blue flecks

Dont know if someone has mentioned this but if you still use a PSX you can pop the lid of the console open while choosing her limit break. Nothing else will load untill you put it back down.

That works with a ps2 also. It's funny watching the animations loop over and over xD
