I'm sure that most people here listen to music...but is there one song, that no matter how many times you hear it, never fails to give you chills?
Mine would have to be Eien no Sora from Suikoden 3...the song is so beautiful...it chills me every thime.
Anyone else?

Simon and Garfunkel's version of "The Sun is Burning"
The sun is burning in the sky
Strands of clouds go slowly drifting by
In the park the lazy bees
Are droning in the flowers, among the trees
And the sun burns in the sky
Now the sun is in the West
Little kids go home to take their rest
And the couples in the park
Are holdin' hands and waitin' for the dark
And the sun is in the West
Now the sun is sinking low
Children playin' know it's time to go
High above a spot appears
A little blossom blooms and then draws near
And the sun is sinking low
Now the sun has come to Earth
Shrouded in a mushroom cloud of death
Death comes in a blinding flash
Of hellish heat and leaves a smear of ash
And the sun has come to Earth
Now the sun has disappeared
All is darkness, anger, pain and fear
Twisted, sightless wrecks of men
Go groping on their knees and cry in pain
And the sun has disappeared.
They sing it so happily and peacefully, so you think it's just a nice little song, but then they drop an H-bomb on everything. And they way they sing it at those last two verses is so creepy.

Dam - System of a Down
And by chills I mean, it sounds as if it's being sung by an escaped mental patient who butchered a family while they slept.

Pearl Jam's 'Black' when it hits the end and the piano comes in and the chorus and all of that, everytime...
It has to be something that's just like.. -powerful- and moving and what not, if it doesn't do that I normally won't listen to it anyways.

Those Chosen by the Planet-FF7
and Exorcist theme song.
There are so many, but the first one that pops to mind is Truce by The Dresden Dolls. It's about 8:30 minutes long, and it's fantasic. The end gives me goosebumps. :)

Song's don't really give me "chills". Music just dosn't affect me that way. I can listen to a depressing song, sing word for word, with a grin on my face, but Björk's songs have more of an effect than any others. Its the way she sings, mainly.
"Play Dead"
Darling stop confusing me
With your wishful thinking
Hopeful embraces
Don't you understand?
I have to go through this
I belong to here where
No-one cares and no-one loves
No light no air to live in
A place called hate
The city of fear
I play dead
It stops the hurting
I play dead
And the hurting stops
It's sometimes just like sleeping
Curling up inside my private tortures
I nestle into pain
Hug suffering
Caress every ache
I play dead
It stops the hurting
A sample from "Hyperballad"
i listen to the sounds they make
on their way down
i follow with my eyes 'til they crash
imagine what my body would sound like
slamming against those rocks

A lot of lemon jelly's songs or air's songs
A lot of music from games- the grandia theme tune out of pure nostalgia and good memories, lots of songs from ff6 + ff9, to zanarkand from ff10.
Circle of life from the lion fing. :p
There are lots more, but those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

The live version of Going Under, by Evanescence. Not because I adore the song or anything, but her voice when she sings it is just spectacular.

"Llorando", Rebekah Del Rio's Spanish version of Roy Orbison's "Crying" in Mulholland Drive. That scene in the movie is incredibly chilling.
"Dark Angel" by Blue Rodeo, for personal reasons relating to a long lost relationship that ended with a parting of ways but no hard feelings.
I met this girl
She was walking through one of my dreams
She kissed my eyes
And everything that she said
Made so much sense to me
That I still feel like I'm half asleep
My dark angel
She gave me diamonds for eyes
She walked by
Now I'm hypnotised
By this dream
That just won't stop
And I feel
Like I've always been lost in this dream
The rumours of heaven
Only speak the truth on earth
My dark angel
Shine your light on my curse
You are the other that I have to find
Until I do
I guess I'll see you 'round my mind
So Colorado
Is a place I have to go
I heard a rumour
She loves the mountains and the snow
My dark angel
She gave me diamonds for eyes
My dark angel
I offer you my heart
My dark angel
I think I loved you from the start
'Cause there's this face that I know
That I've never seen
Sometimes I feel I'm livin' in
Someone else's dream
Still I thank you
For stopping to talk
And I wonder
Just into who's dream did who walk
Oh my dark angel
Shine your light on me
Shine your light
Shine your light
Shine your light on me
On me
On me

Quite a few of Christina Aguilera's slower songs give me the shivers. That chick has the best voice around.
