Topic Link: the horror (http://www.starterupsteve.com/video/cforcookie.shtml)

As news eventually reached me via the irreputably accurate soruce of eoff, I hath learned that the Cookie monster has been forced to adopt fruit to his diet. A sudden change, none the less.

Citizens! We reach a time in our empirialistic world order, where we are to be treated as the puppets to the proverbial puppet masters who control our society. Even the supposed Magna Carte (I Marik at spelling, shut up) has fallen to this sadistic political plot hole.

Where once we have looked to fictional, romantic characters such as V, we must now put our focus on a new hero, that will rise against the opprssions cause from ourselves, and too many over carring mothers. Where we sought the freedom to enjoy natures finest food, plucked straight from the branches of yon American bakery; we find nothing but fruit! Bannannas and Apples and such! Nothing worth of being washed down with a tall class of Wisconsin's finest Milk.

How far will we let this villany go? The cookie monster being transmorgified into the fruit monster!? Bert and Earnie may no longer live together? What has become of our sole source of education in a box?
----------------
Topic: What do you think of the state of Seseme Street changing cookie monster to fruit monster, and other related style of oppression to our boxed education? Do you know of any other horrors; please share.

Amazing. Best parody of anything ever.

And the short answer(s) to your question(s) is/are: People are idiots who don't take responsibility for their own lives.

As long as he's a life long advocate of the Internets use for porn, then I could care less if he's a fruit, terrorist, fruitcake, candy fruit, candy cane, or if he's homosexual. (With the possible homosexual use for candy canes)

We live in a society that will one minute vilifies (http://www.channel4.com/life/microsites/J/jamies_school_dinners/index.html) something and then the next minute seeks to glorify (http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/tv/body_image/im_fat.shtml) it. Seems as though it's OK for adults to be obese, but not children. There goes that backwards thinking again. The same thinking that allows people to fire guns and die for their country and have children, but not drink.

Ha. I was watching Rove Live the other week and Elmo was a guest. Now the Cookie Monster must know Cookies are a "sometimes" food. That's okay and it's subtle - good for the kids. But turning him into a fruit monster? I think society just goes from one extreme to the next.

"The fruit monster!" Pathetic. Since when have teeny boppers been buying the food for the house. It's parents who buy the food, they don't have to buy their kids cookies if they don't want to. So turning the cookie monster into the fruit monster, to stop kids eating lots of cookies, is just silly.
