im now playing FF VIII after a long 4 year gap..this might sound stupid but i really need help getting to the great salt lake. i just cant figure out a way to get there. ive done it before, just dont know why i cant do it this time..help me! PLS!!

After you've found the White Seed ship, just head to Fisherman's Horizon. A scene should play out involve extensive piggy-backing, and you'll be at the GSL.

No,you don't need to.Just go see Rinoa after talking to the white seeds and 'talk' to her,after a short scene you'll be at the Great Salt lake.

Yeah as above and down the traintracks of FH with Rinoa and then to that great big white looking patch.
