On Saturday i will move into my dorm at Stirling University and begin studying Biology on the Thursday after that.

Im rather nervous about the whole affair yet excited at the same time.

Anyone else going to Uni this year, if so where and are you living at home or away from home? :choc:

It's gonna be a little while before I start on any university.

I've always wondered: What's the difference between college and university?

I'm going to Westminster's Harrow Campus (Zone 5/6 Northwest London), and I'm currently doing it from home, but I'm hoping to find some people to bunk up with closer to the actual uni since it'll take me about an hour to get there everyday.

I leave in my parents house but i have to wake up at 6 a.m to be at college at 8 a.m.

If you stay in the dorms you won“t study much and most likely you will be going out almost every night...which is fine by me.;)

Biology seems well hard. I'll be staying at home this year

Fresher's week for me starts on the 25th of this month. I will be reading International Relations & Politics as a joint honors course.

I am going to De Montfort University, so I am staying at home.

I am going to De Montfort UniversityBOOOOO! LEICESTER 4 LIFE!!! DMU? MORE LIKE DMPOO! (I've been working on that one for many months)

Yeah, but on the other hand, they're giving me a £500 scholarship per year, on top of the bursary. Plus, DMU is shiny. I'm not kidding when I say that influenced my decision. =P

P.S. the culmination of many month's work was truly worth the effort.

things I learned in university:

- study your ass off. Your grades are the most important thing.
- there are lots of clubs. You can make lots of friends. Make sure it's co-ed cuz...sausage fest
- party
- drink
- girls
- yay!

This is my second year. Last year I was on residence, this year I got an apartment with my friend. I attend McGill University.

I live across the street from my university. I graduated though so I plan on moving when my lease is up.

I live about an hour from my college so it's no big deal getting
there.

I'm starting up college in exactly 2 weeks. And I'm barely even prepared, still gotta finish registering for classes and have to get my books. >.>

Hmm procrastination and real life, not a good combo methinks.

I hated my first year ^_^;; It's a big adjustment. I was so, so homesick all the time.

Second year was okay.

I'm liking this year so far :3

Good luck~

I'll be moving in to the dorm on the 23rd unless my Community College screws me over and doesn't send in my transcripts, in which case you'll see something about a massacre of the transcript and graduation office on the news.

I'll be going in as a Junior with my AA, and the college is about two hours or so from my house. No need for me to go out of state when there's a good Journalism school so close, especially since it can help me get on with the local paper that I hope to write for when I start my career (the Seattle Times, if anybody cares).

PI > Times

(actually, I don't have any idea, I just like their name better. Makes them sound more smart)

I'm about to start law school so all of you are noobs compared to me.
