I think it's a great result for NI, and full credit to them for winning, especially because they're bouncing back from a 3-0 defeat, something which isn't easy to do. I personally rate them as being better than Scotland (who also won tonight, against Lithuania)

It would be great to see one of the home nations besides England qualify for a major tournament.

A magnificent result for Northern Ireland. It's unfortunate that they can take points from the likes of Spain while dropping them to teams like Iceland, but last night's display shows what they're capable of when they're at their best.

Yes, they really did the country proud. Im STILL singing "we're not brazil, we're northern ireland". I look forward to qualifying this year. Football is probably the one issue in NI which im not sectarian on.
