You're a beginner, so they're forgiveable. The first one is really blurry. The second one is better, and really not terrible for a beginner. The render is a bit unclean and the filter is pretty basic, but keep practicing and trying new things and you'll get better.

These are really nice sigs for a begginer, keep practising and looking for some tuts, you'll get there.

Best of luck

The guy wants tips on how to blend. Owen, it seems like this is your area of expertise, should you not try and help him out? :choc2:

I wouls more willingly do so, but I don't trust myself.

anyway, here's my advice mate, I hope it comes to hand, also, i am happy to see you start making sigs.

there are alot of ways to blend:
1. use the lasso tool and select around the pic, 9you'd better use renders, you can find some good ones here http://www.render-world.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=topn&cat=2 ) after you select around it press. CTRL+X then CTRL+V. it'll blend alittle.

2. using the eraser, you can lower the opacity of it and choose a very smooth eraser, and start to erase some parts around the picture, but not completly.

I hope this helps about belnding.
