Family Guy or The Simpsons.

I will always love the Simpsons since it's practically part of my childhood.But,Family Guy is a stroke of twisted genius.I don't know which one I like the most.

i didnt like the cartoon wars episodes of south park, but they raise a good point, family guy is just one random joke after another. I kinda liked the onler episodes of family guy but when it came back it was all garbage

QFT! Family Guy is just... random buckets of crap. The Simpsons actually deals with controversial topics, and the people have personalities that are not all the same.

That reminds me of the South Park episode with the Dolphins. Anyway, I do agree that Family Guy is just random, but the randomness is just so hilarious! Also, nothing beats the animation of when characters fall in Family Guy. It's just so swift and sudden.

The Simpsons, however, isn't all about randomness and is actually a little bit serious compared to Family Guy. Although Family Guy makes me laugh a lot, there are occasionally rare jokes in the Simpsons that are just so funny that they beat out the randomness of Family Guy. Example: Ralph- "Me fail English? That unpossible."

Without a doubt, however, Futurama is absolutely my most favorite animated comedy along with South Park.

The older simpson episodes are better by far. But the newer ones are pretty terrible.

Classic Simpsons > Any family guy episode > Newer Simpsons episodes

Futurama has a better plot, better characters, funnier jokes, and is just overall superior to either. I'm not knocking on Family Guy or The Simpsons, they're both great shows, but I've always felt that up to this point, Futurama is the pinnacle of "cartoon sitcoms".

The Simpsons has way more class than Family Guy. Family Guy is funny, but it could never ever compete with the Simpsons. And the newer episodes are still very good. Much better than the first one or two seasons, which were pretty dull.

yeah i agree with some others, the simpsons WAS funnier up till about season 8 or 9 when the writers seemed to change completely and IT became a little random also

It maybe random stuff but Family Guy just has that thing where I just drop on the floor laughing my lungs out. They both have their cliches in episodes and they both have and had good and bad points in their time.

Yes simpsons has class, and it is usually one of the things a whole family can watch but Family Guy just makes me laugh more.

But Futurama just owns both of them. Like others have said, better plot, characters and episode ideas.

Classic Simpsons blows whatever the prime for Family Guy is out of the water. I think more people like FG more because it is better now, but they forget how great Simpsons was back in the day. Or maybe back in the day for most of them was when they were like 6. I guess it just depends on what you grew up with.

Tricky, but I find that Family Guy will have a sparse couple of big laughs per episode, and that's it, whereas the Simpsons keep up a steady barrage of small laughs all the way through. So I vote the Simpsons.
