Cowboy Bebop is amazing. I absolutely love it.

Although I'm probably the only person that will ever say I think Samurai Champloo is better.

~This has got to be one of my favourite anime of all time, well this and Vision of Escaflowne. I actually own the limited edition box set with the O.S.T. 1 included, Yoko Kanno is amazing.

The only problem is that after getting the box set....I went broke for a while.

The filler was alright but the episodes related to the central story were gold.

Cowboy Bebop is fantastic, and often utterly hilarious - plus it has excellent music and one of the sweetest animals in anime in Ein.

Its a good show, a great show in fact, but its overrated. It also copied Lupin III in my opinion ( the style and humor ). I prefered Samurai Champloo to bebop, but as I said, bebop is a great show.

I thought Cowboy Bebop was funny, but then in times it was also very depressing, some episodes bought a tear to my eye.

I liked this show, although I think it's a bit overrated. In any case it was nice how the series slowly revealed the backstory of Spike and Jet and how all those crew members got involved. There were some crazy episodes like "Mushroom Samba" which provided quite a few laughs, but there were dramatic episodes as well, and the ending was quite emotional. The soundtrack was fitting, and I really liked "Tank!" (the opening theme), although there were some other standout tracks as well. The animation was alright, and at least the Japanese voice actors did their job properly. All in all it's a series worth watching. :)

Cowboy Bebop is one of those timeless anime that you can watch 10 years later and still enjoy it. There have been other anime in the same style who may have improved on its formula, but they don't render Bebop obsolete. It's not one of my all time favourites, but it's definitely one of those shows that you should see if you consider yourself a serious fan of anime.
