What should I keep an eye out for?

I think I asked this question ages ago, but I've forgotten the answers. XD

Anyway, what do I have to keep an eye out for in this game?
I'm this perfectionist guy, so if I find myself having missed ONE item, I always restart.
I don't wanna do that, so what can I miss?

I think this PuPu-whatever Card was a missable item. :cool:

LOL I'm the SAME EXACT way. If I missed something, or didn't do it the right way, I'll start the game over. :D

If you're interested in collecting ALL the cards [which is why I started a new game over for the 4th time :rolleyes2] I suggest you get them early in the game before you either forget or lose your chance.

On disc 2 when you choose instruments for Selphie's "band" and you get to be Irvine, ditch everyone and run around in FH just for kicks. You'll get free stuff. :D It's kind of funny too... I won't say what happens if you don't know... but it's awesome.

Final Fantasy VIII is the only game of the series I am willing to put time and effort to do everything. When I reach scenes that have numerous outcomes depending on which party members you pick (eg the scene where Zell takes people into his bedroom for the first time) I used to save my game before and check out all the different scenarios.

Yeah, the reason why I joined this forum in the first place was so that I could meet other people who loved the game so much they did things crazier than I did

If you could win all the rare cards twice after refining them then I'd like to hear how you did it

I think it's when you beat the cc club once, they come with you on disk 4, and are on the ranarock. You can get all the cards, apart from PuPu's, from them.

I did that too! I thought it was funny if you take Selphie in his room and she sits on his bed and says he doesn't have to be so anal. (lol anal... See, Selphie knows he's gay :p )
