http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gif Aye, very passable, that, very passable bit of risotto.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar92_23.gif Nothing like a good glass of Château de Chasselas, eh, Josiah?
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar22_7.gif You're right there, Obadiah
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar2_9.gif Who'd have thought thirty year ago we'd all be sittin' here drinking Château de Chasselas, eh?
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gif In them days we was glad to have the price of a cup o' tea.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar92_23.gif A cup o' cold tea.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar2_9.gif Without milk or sugar.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar22_7.gif Or tea.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gif In a cracked cup, an' all.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar2_9.gif Oh, we never had a cup. We used to have to drink out of a rolled up newspaper.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar92_23.gif The best we could manage was to suck on a piece of damp cloth.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar22_7.gif But you know, we were happy in those days, though we were poor.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gif Because we were poor. My old Dad used to say to me, "Money doesn't buy you happiness, son".
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar2_9.gif Aye, 'e was right.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gif Aye, 'e was
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar2_9.gif I was happier then and I had nothin'. We used to live in this tiny old house with great big holes in the roof.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar92_23.gif House! You were lucky to live in a house! We used to live in one room, all twenty-six of us, no furniture, 'alf the floor was missing, and we were all 'uddled together in one corner for fear of falling.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar22_7.gif Eh, you were lucky to have a room! We used to have to live in t' corridor!
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gif Oh, we used to dream of livin' in a corridor! Would ha' been a palace to us. We used to live in an old water tank on a rubbish tip. We got woke up every morning by having a load of rotting fish dumped all over us! House? Huh.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar2_9.gif Well, when I say 'house' it was only a hole in the ground covered by a sheet of tarpaulin, but it was a house to us.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar92_23.gif We were evicted from our 'ole in the ground; we 'ad to go and live in a lake.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar22_7.gif You were lucky to have a lake! There were a hundred and fifty of us living in t' shoebox in t' middle o' road.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gif Cardboard box?
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar22_7.gif Aye.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gif You were lucky. We lived for three months in a paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six in the morning, clean the paper bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down t' mill, fourteen hours a day, week-in week-out, for sixpence a week, and when we got home our Dad would thrash us to sleep wi' his belt.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar92_23.gif Luxury. We used to have to get out of the lake at six o'clock in the morning, clean the lake, eat a handful of 'ot gravel, work twenty hour day at mill for tuppence a month, come home, and Dad would thrash us to sleep with a broken bottle, if we were lucky!
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar22_7.gif Well, of course, we had it tough. We used to 'ave to get up out of shoebox at twelve o'clock at night and lick road clean wit' tongue. We had two bits of cold gravel, worked twenty-four hours a day at mill for sixpence every four years, and when we got home our Dad would slice us in two wit' bread knife.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar2_9.gif Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gif And you try and tell the young people of today that ..... they won't believe you.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar1_2.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar92_23.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar22_7.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/user/avatar/avatar2_9.gif They won't!

I think it's safe to say that starseeker is roto's second account (http://forums.eyesonff.com/showthread.php?t=83586)

This really can't be a coincidence, with both copying and pasting Python sketches and adding EoFF oldbies.

Let's ban them.

Roto's sketch was my inspiration. But it was so tmpting to do this with our resident old gits. Plus the pythons only improved the sketch, they didn't create it.

Do one with people speaking in a Liverpudlian lingo. :D

It may not be original, but it's a quality sketch. Plus the thought of Unne speaking in a Yorkshire accent makes me giggle.

It's from a sketch that was performed on Monty Python's Flying Circus. I didn't write it, I just changed the people speaking from 4 yorkshiremen to 4 EoFF oldbies.

I would've liked it better if you had rewrote it to be EoFF based, something like;

"You were lucky! I had to start posting at six in the morning, correct every single post by hand, unarchive and rearchive every staff post and only got two cents added to my PayPal account from ads, and when I logged out I would get abusive PM's from Leeza telling me how I would never amount to anything and how terrible my body odour was!"

That would've made this a true classic.

This really can't be a coincidence, with both copying and pasting Python sketches and adding EoFF oldbies. Cid, Raist and Unne I'll give you. But I am not an oldbie. Neither is Leeza. Neither is rubah. Neither is roto. Neither is Zeldy. Neither is Rye. I don't think Giga Guess is. I don't even think BoB is. I expect such nonsense from the likes of Tavrobel, but you of all people should know better, Levian. Unless you think you're an oldbie too, and in which case I'll laugh at you, but I was going to do that anyway so I don't suppose it'll make any difference either way.

I hate Yorkshire.

I guess that's what I get for not re-reading through Roto's thread. And for that, I guess you're not going to ban them either. :( And BoB is totally an oldbie btw.

I'm the Eternal Newbie! And seriously, those other three are so much older than me, I don't fit in. You need to put in RSL. He, like Unne, Cid and Rai St. Lin, joined in the first few days of EoFF's existence. I joined the next year, roughly nine months afterwards!

The original scetch when they wern't in Python was the best. Wasn't David Jason in it too? I cannot remember xD It was on that really old kids tv show they all did in the 50s/60s (cannot remember which)
I love them all, classic British comedy at its best ^^

P.S your attempt was amusing :)

So, if/when I rewrite this, you'll be replace by RSL. It's just that you're a really visible member.
