So, uhhhhh, a simple question. How many showers a week do you take? Or even a day? Do some of you go 3 times a day, or every day, or every 2 days, or every week, or every month, or every year... or do some of you not know what a shower is? :eek:

I go twice a day. Once in the morning, once when I get back in the evening. Thats 'twice a day, every single day'. I smell so good and fresh I never even need deodrant :D

It depends on when. During the summer....maybe 3 a week. I'd take more but I don't see my friends/go out as much during the summer, so there's little incentive. During school, it's more like 5. I could never shower twice a day! I'm trying to be more environmentally conscience OR SOMETHING and use as little as possible. ;P Although if I was really dedicated I probably shouldn't be on the computer as much. D:

My hair is really good at not getting greasy, Its awesome. I don't have time to wash all my hair etc every night.

Never in a morning. I avoid Morning showers. Evening is best, as Im more awake, and I sleep on it and it flattens, as my hair goes so poofy xD

Um... usually once a day, but sometimes during the summer I'll do it every other day, so I suppose 5-7 times a week. Sometimes I take a shower in the morning and a bath at night, so it's more than 7 at times. I love baths so much, I read in them. :bigsmile:

And Amy, I have really really long hair, so I somewhat feel your pain. I tie my hair back in a bun when I don't want to wash it (I wash my hair every other day usually, but in the summer I'll be lazy and do it once every three days) and it works good.

I have hair past my elbow (correction now its to mid arm from should to elbow) and its a total pain to do the drying and styling ritual ... i try to do it only once every other day too ... but dam this texas humidity ... sometimes i exercise my vanity and then step outside to have it undone in 2 mins :crying:

I completely understand that. There's no way I would wash my hair every day. xD For that, it's every 3 days. However, showering, every day or pretty close to it. They're just quick showers where I don't get my hair wet :3

I wake up at 05:10 and make my way over to the bathroom. The water helps wake me up. :D I just let my hair air-dry all morning long at school, which is good, because I can keep it tended to (like pulling down the wierd parts and keeping it all in place, so it'll stay that way for the rest of the day).

However, I usually skip Saturday and Sunday unless I'm going out somewhere.

When I meet other people every day, I try to shower once a day. If i'm not going be around other people, I sometimes skip one or two days.
It's not healthy showering too much either. Once a day is about the highest shower frequency one should have.

Every two or three days, it depends on what I'm doing and when. Oddly, my hair tends to be better the day AFTER I wash it than the day I wash it. Day three is still fairly tolerable. After that, washing is needed or I go insane from the big manky mop.

I shower twice a day from Monday-Thursday because I always take a shower before school, and then I take a shower after tennis practice (it's really hot outside and I sweat a lot when I play). I will also take a shower after I go swimming. I don't like the whole feeling of dry sweat (which is usually sticky for me) or dry chlorine on me. It just doesn't feel right.

I went into a shop today and got talking with one of my friends. Along came a spider... a gruesome, sweaty and stinky spider. My friend told me that this guy, he is a manager there, had the worst BO problem of anyone she has ever worked with and that it was so bad at least 1 person had left their jobs because of him. And she said that was the only reason he quit his job because the manager is a really nice guy, and people like him, but they just can't bring themselves to tell him how bad he smells!

I wonder how you do that... say someone smells really awful but you like them and care about their feelings... how do you bring yourself to tell them that they smell bad and they need to do something about it?

At first we were all hanging out together and stuff, but I noticed the smell and I was like *___________* so I never hung out with his roommate again. xD But he had to sleep in the same room as him... >_> They slept with their pillows facing each other, and my friend said his roomie's pillow smelled! ;.; I dunno how he put up with it the whole year. If I were him I woulda just said something like "um go shower you stinky poo head." Except not like that :p

And the sad part is, he decided to dorm AGAIN and he got the SAME roommate by chance this year. :p Poor kid.

Seriously though, I feel sorry for people like that and I make sure I don't make anyone suffer by simply exercising to death. For example, yesterday was a very hot day and I was sweaty when i was out and about and I was sticky when I came home. So today, one day later, it was very cloudy and muggy outside and extremely humid. I just went for a hard run for about an hour and a half, so much so, that I barely sweated when I came home. THATS when you know you've got all the potential stinkiness out of your body :love:
