House - it has Hugh Laurie's great performance as one of the best (and frequently most hilarious) doctors on TV.

House is classic. Grey's is just kind of fun if you've nothing else to do.

I have never seen "House" and the few moments and clips I have seen of "Grey's Anatomy" were actually quite enjoyable and amusing...So yeah.

You can't be serious! House rocks (Hugh Laurie, nuff said) but Gray's Anatomy has that cute guy George in it! I love them both so much!!!!!

I'm not gay, you are.

I used to watch House, but interest just faded slowly over time and I stopped. I love Grey's Anatomy though. Both are good shows... Kind of too different to compare one to the other.

I've not seen either, but I love Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, so it's gotta be House.

House FTW! It's so much cooler. Hugh plays the role perfectly.

I've watched both and I gotta say, they're two veeeeeeeeery different shows.

Grey's Anatomy is much more of a comedy. House is a drama, period. House is much more focused on the medical stuff, Grey's is focused a lot more on the relationships and whacky situations.

To say that House is "better" than Grey's Anatomy is silly because they're not even the same kind of show. Not really.

I love Grey's Anatomy. It's fun and quirky and the relationships just suck you in. The characters are really outstanding.

House is a bit more fascinating in that, mystery "can House solve this?" sort of way. It's nowhere near as lovable as Grey's Antamoy though. And House carries the show. It's not as strong an ensemble as Grey's Anatomy which has soooo many wonderful characters, each very strong in their own right.

So yeah. Two very good shows. Two very different shows.

If it's still a mystery, you've not watched enough.

Pfft, fine, be nitpicky.

"How is House gonna solve this?" - better?

Honestly, it's Scrubs.

Though with those choices I'd go House.

I have no idea what either is, so I'm just going to assume that both suck.

Honestly, Scrubs is a comedy.

House is a drama. Grey's is a dramedy.

Comparing shows that are different genres is just silly. :p

Pfft. Don't be ridiculous. Grey's Anatomy is the greatest of the bestest.

My preordered box set of season 2 came yesterday!

Much

Although I do see what you're saying about them being too different to reasonably compare, but in terms of pure enjoyment, I get more out of House than Grey's.

I know a lot of people who speak the world of Grey's Anatomy, but I've never been able to get into it.

It's House all the way for me.

That's exactly why I like House. Because House is a medical show, not a damn soap opera. Yes, there is some relationship drama in House but it is about 85% medical, 5% Comedy, and about 25% medical-related comedy. that leaves a measely 5% of soapiness. House is awesome and Hugh Laurie is an awesome actor.

The only problem with House is that most episodes are rather predictable - in the sense of the medical issues, anyway. The first two theories they go ahead with will turn out to be wrong and the third one will work. It's the characters that make the show, rather than the medical side of things. The medical side is more of a setting for the episode, not of great importance so much as the patient and the doctors themselves and the relationships between them, sometimes the odd ethical question etc.

Never seen GA, I must admit.

EDIT: I like how what I said totally contradicted what the above poster said.
