I'd rather go to Beerfest and partake in stupid drinking games.

Seriously though, if I had the coinage, I'd be there in a hot minute.

That's a very good question.

I've heard of this 'Oktoberfest' before, but only in cartoons. :/

Oktoberfest is a two-week beer festival held each year in Munich (München), Bavaria, Germany, during late September and early October. It is one of the most famous events in the city and the world's largest fair, with some 6 million people attending in 2002. Other cities across the world also hold fairs, modeled after the Munich event, called Oktoberfest.

Basically a giant college style beer fest. Germain Marti Gras.

But I hear they have a mega huge backstash of alchohal from lack of celebrating! Now that is something to celebrate! seriously ~

Beer is definitely good, but although Munich isn't that far away from Denmark I have never attented the Oktober Fest. I'd really like to some time, though! :)

Hear hear! I'm German and Irish as well (well, Scottish mainly, but some Irish also), which is wonderful, as I'm now a prime candidate for alcoholism via heredity (if that's even possible in this case).

Anyway, I'll definantily be going, as I've gone for the last eleven years since I was eight. Not only will I be going, I'll be performing at the damn thing, as my family is part of a German Dance Group called the Schuplattler und Trachtein Verein Almrausch. Check us out if you're ever in Texas.

Some times I make the woman hold my liquor... like while I am pissing or itching.
