Shipping before Release date

i hope no one thinks this is a stupid thread... but i need help! hah hah!:D

A game I want comes out september 18th. I want to go get it on foot, but I know it'll be packed at the store. If I order the game today from wal-mart.com, (9/16/06) will it be shipped to me on the 18th or maybe a few days after? Or will it be in japenese or somthin... it says "pre-order", so does that mean even though its not out yet, when it does come out, they'll jut send it to me? I just wanna make sure...:confused:

A pre-order means they'll save a copy for you. Since it's a website, I assume they'll ship it on the release date.

Some places will even try and ship it so it arrives on the release date, but not all do.
