I LOVE the colour Pink! (And I'm a guy)

Okay, this is my problem.

For many years, the colour Pink has been wrongfully laughed at by guys the world over. Out of all the colours in the spectrum, Pink has been singled out as the most 'girly' colour of all colours and if a guy gets caught wearing Pink in public he is laughed at or called 'gay'. This makes me mad! :nonono: :nibbles: Why is Pink picked on in this way? Why does Red, or Green, or Blue not get bullied the way poor Pink gets bullied?

It's not right I tell's ya! :crying:

And I say this because Pink is easily my favourite colour. I have my favourite Pink T-shirts, I have my, er, Pink socks (actually they were white but got washed with some reds (see! red is a JERK of a colour!) to make my socks Pink) and one day I might even paint my walls Pink.

So, the purpose of this Thread is: What do other guys think of Pink? Would you ever go out in public wearing Pink clothes? Would you have the bravery to stand up for the rights of this most loveliest of colours?

And ladies, what would you think of a guy wearing Pink clothes? Would you laugh at him with your friends? :chuckle: Or would you think 'What a rebel! What a stylish guy! :drool:'

I don't really like pink on guys. It's all right, but eh. Not cause anything like GUYS CAN'T WEAR PINK but I've never seen it look really good. A lot of the guys that do wear it seem to have this attitude like yeah I'm wearing pink you wanna go >=( And that's not cool.

Pink is such a beautiful country. Sony is even releasing a Pink PSP and PS2... I will surely buy both.

I have pink t-shirts and socks and braclets and I wear then quite regularly. I quite enjoy the colour pink. Actually, I used to have two glow in the dark pink bead braclets, and girls loved them and it was a good way to meet them because they were all like "EEE THOSE ARE SO COOL CAN I HAVE ONE" And yeah.

Also, I grew up a Bret Hart fan. Pink and Black attack is back :cool:

i prefer purple. im a guy and i like darker purple colours and theres nothing wrong with pink but i wouldnt really wear either of them. maybe a shirt with a little bit of purple or pink but only a tiny bit. pink just isn't for wearing in my book.

Anyways, I could care less colors, since I have no sense of coordination or decoration ability. I could care less if someone wears it. And if someone gets me a pink shirt, I'd wear it if I ran out of other clothes.

Thats whats wrong with today's Western Society (and I don't know about the eastern society). Women can wear whatever they want in whatever color they want, (bluejeans and a leather jacket for example), and no one thinks different. But if a man wears even a pink teeshirt without some kind of tagline, people ridicule him about being "girly". Its not fair! If I want to wear a pink robe with white fluff around the hem, and a cool looking ring thats not amazingly gaudy, I don't want people to think I'm dressing up for Halloween!

when I was in High School, one of the Dean's used to wear a pink button down shirt. It was kinda funny because he was incredibly tanned most of the time, and from the right angle, you couldn't tell if he was wearing a shirt at all...

I generally like to wear long pants, a teeshirt, and a jacket or a vest. It would be awesome, if that jacket was Pink. Provided it wasn't frilly, I think it would suit me. In fact, a pink Blazer would be quite nice. I'd get some nice dark contrasting colors, and a black shirt with a tie-died tie. That would be an awesome thing to wear. Unfortunately, I couldn't do it every day, because I only like attracting attention once in a while. Of course, I still stand by my earlier statement of the unfairness of the fasion industry, but I'd be lying to say it hasn't rubbed off on me.

Though I don't do it often. Pink doesn't look too good on me except in a coupe shades that I almost never see. I tend to wear purple instead, which is nearly as good as pink and looks much better on me.

Definetly not. I think pink looks bad on guys. My opinion isn't based on the fact that pink is a girl's color or whatever, pink just doesn't contrast well with a guy's features.
