EoFF Doom Tournament

I'm sure there are quite a few Doomers on EoFF. So I got an idea; lets have a tournament involving all of us EoFF Doom players!

I use ZDaemon, so if people want to do this, we'll use that. Basically, we'll use some barren server that no one goes to, and use it as our server. We'll have competitions all the time, so its not just one tournament. We may have some Cooperative games too. Me and possibly Bakerman are organizing this, so post here if you want to play!

Starting dates of the competition will be released when we get players.

Its a client that lets you play Doom online, basically. You need the original game WAD files. (PM me if you don't have them).

Another FPS would be better, doom just isn't multiplayer "fun". Atleast, thats just my opinion.

I think Doom is loads and loads of fun on Multiplayer. Its a blast.

It's fun when players aren't cheap and kill everything if the BFG or do single shot kills at point blank with the super shotgun.

That actually is a completely free base WAD that can be used to play custom maps without needing the original Doom WADs. It's an alternative, even though Doom WADs are easy to come by nowadays.

Unless the server technology is the same (which I'm not so sure of) you'll need to be using ZDaemon.

I'm tentatively in, depending on how my schedule works out.

Maybe the first tournament could be today sometime? I don't know when because I need to figure out what time that would be in everyone's timezone. For me, maybe 4:00 Pacific Eastern?

Can we have a few big games with lots of players instead of lots of little games with few players. If its possible, I dont know how this tornement is being planned out...
