I have finally beaten Sephiroth (KH2)!
I used Retaliating Slash, Finishing Leap, Aerial Finish, and Negative Combo. Also, I had 6 Elixirs on a shortcut (I only used 3).
The next thing I know, he's down to TWO life bars. That's where it gets scary... he's FAST in that phase.
Meteor was strangely weak and easy to avoid.
'Descend Heartless Angel'... I interupted it most of the time, so that must be the biggest thing that made it easier.
I made a seperate save file to watch the scene afterwards again.
Also, the Fenrir Keyblade, it was funny because since I had two Negative Combo's equipped, Sora just had a combo of 1! It was hilarious!
I tried fighting Heartless with it and it was weird.
I still like Ultima Weapon better for MP Hastega.
And... I always wondered why (in KH and KH 2) Donald and Goofy don't help in the Sephiroth battle... I guess it makes it seem more exciting or interesting... a duel is way more interesting than 3-on-1. Makes it a challenge and requires preparation.
It's just that... I like using Whirly-Goof on stuff.
