I find a lot of words hard to learn, even now. I occasionally use MS Word to make sure I spelled everything right.

It took me quite a while to learn how to spell my own name.
I'd put it here if I remembered how to spell it. :(

Anything with more than one potential for two adjacent, identical letters, such as 'irrelevant'. I don't even know if that is correct =(

You spelled it right, but do not even think to say that the glorious Mary Poppins is in league with Satan. If she spent a week in Hell, old Lucifer would be singing happy songs and behaving nicely.

I never have trouble remembering how to spell words once I learn the correct way to spell them, the problem is that I sometimes learn the wrong way to spell them, although that hasn't happened in years.

Probably Difficult. Is that how you spell it? Seriously, I always stuff it up. Difficult is such a difficult word to spell.

Or Complete/Completely. Never been able to get it right.

It doesn't matter if you can spell the word. Do you actually know what the words mean?

Antidistestablishmentarianism used to by my longest word until I learned the above one. It is a lung disease, by the way.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantyssiliogogogoch

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch *

Does it count if it is the name of a village and not a definable word?

Restaraunt... um... restraunt... restaurant... feeding shop! That's it. And "maybe" took a while. Is this limited to english? Try japanese
"tatakawanakerebanarimasen" (must strike/ hit)
Or German: Bundesrepublik.

And on a similar note, I should note that I once misspelled the word "the" on my 9th grade English final. I think i spelled it "t3"

phenolphthalein

I mean, how the hell do you pronounce the 'lphth' bit?

pseudospseudohypoparathyroidism

Not as long as pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, but pseudopseudohypoparathyriodism is actually a valid medical condition, whereas pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is an artificially expanded name for the condition pnemoconiosis.

Medical textbook = win. :D

Sentences usually end with some form of puncuation. In the case of your post, it would require a period to be used.

Quindiana Jones
09-27-2006, 05:05 PM
And I also didn't start with a capital letter. Though that was done on purpose, due to *'s. I also didn't put a full stop on purpose. Smilies count as punctuation.

Bunny
09-27-2006, 05:08 PM
Well, on the Internet, asterisks are usually a sign of an action being taken and not the beginning of a sentence. They do not really require a person to use a capital letter. You did start your sentence with a capital letter.

I'm going to find a certain Penny-Arcade comic. >_>
