The Devil Man

If Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan had a fight, like, a real, proper, PROPER fight complete with crazy kun-fu kickin' and crazy kun-fu punchin', who would win the Battle?
Errr... consider that there is family and international honour at stake! Yeah! It's the Battle to End All Battles to decided who is the King of Fighters!
So... who would win this Fight? :hot: Over to you!

Jackie Chan once said the most painful accident he had in filming was when Bruce Lee 'accidentally' hit him in the face with numchucks

Jackie Chan. He hasn't died, you see. Clearly he's harder.
Jackie Chan. He hasn't died, you see. Clearly he's harder.Au contraire. If Bruce is already dead, how could he possibly lose? ;)

Jackie Chan's quite a pioneer himself within his field of Kung Fu.
Jeet Kune Do supposedly is the most technical martial art in the world as there is supposed to be a way to counter just about every attack an opponent can throw at you.
I would say Bruce Lee would have the slight advantage in a one-on-one situation.
However, judging from the style of fighting that Jackie Chan is often depicted doing, we can assume that he's pretty good in a one-on-lots situation, especially if there's stuff to throw and move through.

Unfortunately...Bruce Lee strikes me as much more violent that Jackie Chan. Bit I vote Jackie Chan beacuse he's awesome. :)

Bruce Lee I think a heck of a lot better fighter than Jackie. If you watch Bruce fight, he rarely leaves any space open for you to hit him. He's always in stance and facing his enemy. Jackie has a tendency to flail a little and leave his chest vulnerable for attack.
But I'd watch a Jackie Chan movie anyday over Mr. Lee. :)

Jackie Chan would be chanceless.

If we consider them both to be in their prime and still alive, Bruce Lee would win hands down.

Bruce Lee of course. Nobody is better than Bruce. Jet Li! Bruce could pin him in seconds. I've seen fight scenes in Jet Li movies that are so badly done, there laughable. Bruce's skill, speed, an technique, is far superior to theirs.
Jeet Kune Do supposedly is the most technical martial art in the world as there is supposed to be a way to counter just about every attack an opponent can throw at you.
Jeet Kune Do isn't a martial art, Jeet Kune Do was Bruce's philosophy. His fighting style was an amalgamation of various fighting styles he studied which he stripped down and took only the most useful parts and ideas of and incorperated them into his own stripped down base martial art which was Wing Chun kung fu.
Anyway, In a fight Bruce Lee could destroy Jackie Chan. There's no comparison to anyone, Bruce has been arguably the best martial artist of all time.
Filmwise, Jackie Chan's films destroy anything Bruce ever made.

jackie would so own bruce's ass!!! its simple as jackie would just dodge everything bruce sends at him because of his agility and flexibility afterall you cant beat someone if you cant hit them.....as for bruce well his stance is very unmoving almost concrete so jackie would find it easy to hit him.....strength wise bruce has the advantage but because of the understated value of speed jackie would win....
Only, Bruce Lee struck faster than any person i've ever seen in my entire life. Bruce was in unbelievable physical shape, extremely fit and extremely agile. At any rate, Jackie Chan's film fighting is exactly that, film fighting. Choreographed to look fast, flowing and make Jackie look like he can dodge anything. In real life, he can't do that. If you don't believe me, read his Autobiography, he says it himself, along with saying that Bruce was the best he'd ever seen. So go figure.

Bruce owns Jackie anytime he wants.
Jackie owns Bruce in FILMS anytime he wants.
The only logical attack dodging film for Jackie was Drunken Master(note: Hong Kong film) back in the 80's. He accidentally drinks some XO and starts dodging every attack the enmies sent him and counters it with moves like suddenly falling on your back and then springing back up for a headbutt etc.

Even though Jackie Chan is funnier Bruce Lee would beat the crap out of him.

Bruce Lee seemed far more impressive to me. I like Jackie Chan, because he's a really humorous guy and his stunt team rules. However, when it comes down to strength, agility, and skill I think Bruce wins. I guess I'm a bit bias though, because of been a fan of Bruce since I was six.

Bruce Lee, easily. Jackie Chan is a better actor and a good fighter, but there is no way he or anybody else could stand up to Bruce Lee. He invented his own smurfing martial art, for smurfs sake.

Jackie Chan
He has the ability to do completely random death jumps for no reason.
