Sega today confirmed through its official website the release of a PlayStation 2-based compilation containing Phantasy Star I, II, III and IV. The compilation will be released as part of Sega's Ages 2500 series sometime this winter.

That's exactly what I thought.

Still it is pretty cool. They're not too easy to get properly, emus are the only real choice.

But damn, what we really need is re-issues of the Panzer Dragoon games.

Yes. You can get Phantasy Star I and II on one cartridge. I think it has a specific name but I can't think of it.

Sometimes I wish I had a PS2. Sometimes.

Wasn't this already announced like two years ago? The Sega Ages series has been such a trainwreck.

Apparently they're announcing it again. However, the difference between this announcement and the last one was that Phantasy Star III wasn't included in the last announcement

Yeah, and the old PS Trilogy was supposed to come out but the company that was translatng for the US died.

No doubt, PS Universe is probably gonna be as good as any video game cna possibly get without supernatural powers.
