Simple question! Which band do you wish you were a part of? I'm sure we've all had those dreams sometime when listening to our favourite songs that we're right their, on stage, jamming with our *idols*!
For me... ummm... I wish I was a part of SlipKnot. Of course, I wouldn't be good enough to actually do anything, but yeah! I'd be yet another member of SlipKnot and I'd try and play the guitar or something.
Anyone else care to share which bands they wish they were a part of if they had a chance, and what would you play?

Well, my musical abilites on the guitar aside (in short, i suck lol), I would love to be a part of Children of Bodom, Opeth, Trivium, all those great bands. I mean, I can dream can't I? lol

Definitely: Three Times One Minus One.
Modest Mouse or Animal Collective, pretending of course, I had something to contribute.

Emerson Lake and Palmer. Those guys are just so damned skilled that I'm very envious. I wish I was as good as Emerson on keyboards.

Testament. Alex Skolnick's got some wicked solos on the band's first three CDs, such as Over The Wall, Trial By Fire, Sins Of Omission, The Ballad, First Strike Is Deadly, Practice What You Preach, Nightmare (Coming Back To You), Time Is Coming, and Eerie Inhabitants.
Also Anthrax. I can't get enough of Among The Living and Caught In A Mosh. The riffs in those two songs make me wish I'm Scott Ian.
And of course, Slayer. It'd be awesome to stir up all kinds of controversies for Satanic lyrics, as well as songs giving implications of being sympathizers of radical organizations! :D
It'd be nice to be a member of GWAR, too. I so want to be Balsac The Jaws Of Death. That beartrap mask looks pretty bad-ass! It'd also be cool to kill puppeted versions of celebrities onstage, and tell everyone in interviews, autograph sessions, etc. that I'm really an alien that crash-landed in Antarctica with the mission to rid the world of humanity. \m/ ^_^ \m/

Animal Collective are awesome! They're pretty obscure too.
I'd love to be in Sonic Youth, but they are all old now so it would be weird maybe. Kim Gordon is the same age as my mother.

I'm From Barcelona, because well, they're just a collective really and I wouldn't need any musical ability cos I could just shake a tamborine and clap and stuff :D We'll bring you looove, you'll be one of us, when the night comes! When I saw them they said they'd let everyone up on stage to join them if they were allowed to. <3!
Or the boy least likely to, again doing the same sort of thing, I'd like to be the giant dog though (or at least dance with him) :D

Hm, I guess Divine Comedy. They're music just lifts me up and I smile, cry, laugh and they just can fit any mood perfectly.
The Polyphonic Spree. It's like being in a cult, only you actually get paid for it. :D
