EoFF Classic Banner Competition 2006 - Round Two Voting

[Queen Award, First of Her Name]

Voting Rules
You are allowed a maximum of three votes.
The first two votes MUST be for different people - You can not ONLY vote for one person if you have more than one vote (eg. You can't only vote Loony BoB A and Loony BoB B - if you do want to vote for both of them, you must vote for someone else's banner submission as well). This is to avoid people pushing by name rather than by banner quality.
All votes should be PM'ed to myself - Award Guy.

Keep in mind when voting that this banner will be at the top of EoFF Classic for a significant period of time - most likely it will be a minimum of one year. If you want to see what any of the banners below will look like in EoFF Classic, click on the banner and you will be given a screenshot of the banner in use with the style.

At the moment, the deadline for voting in the first round is is Saturday 30th September, 12pm, GMT (UK time) / 4am, PST (California time). Approximately 6 banners will go through to a third round, of which the Staff will pick from when deciding which should be the banner for the coming years.

What, there's no joke banners. Ed's banner is not really a joke banner, if that's the one you're aiming for. A banner doesn't always have to be three FF characters blended with various details, but I don't see Ed's banner winning in the end anyway. I don't see it past this round, actually. All of the really good ones made it through to this round, and the ones who didn't get this far were never going to win in the end anyway. I don't know 'bout everyone else, but I'm voting for the banners I like, not the banner makers.

Unless I'm looking at the wrong one, thats a male, and doesn't look anything like cloud >.> unless somewhere in one of the sigs "lightning" from XIII(or some name like that, thats what I last heard anyways) is the female, who somewhat resembles cloud.

As for Ed's sig, i'll just drop it, not worth arguing when it takes not too much effort to see the difference between it and the others. This isn't meant to be offensive Ed, so please don't take it that way.

Sorry the classic version is much better than the default. I have no idea why you guys introduced it in the first place. I think the colors with the classic style is easier on the eyes, and it just looks better all around. Plus, Auron gives me **** when I see him these days, so the newer setting is out.

For "Eyes" on Final Fantasy it is a wonder that no one used Rikku's Al Bhed eyes on artwork. PRetty unique in terms of eyes and FF :D

I am. It was a unique idea, yes, but considering all the other great banners up for nomination (and better fitting banners frankly), I'm a little dissappointed both of those got selected considering it's basically the same banner for both.

yay eyesonff classic. Yeah, I like blue and not brown better. Plus, I like the characters in the classic one better than the 2005 one, except Aeris.

I hope it'll be either the same one, Agent Proto B, or aisle_s B. Agent Proto A makes more sense considering where you guys are putting it, however, if you made the #'s links to the different sub forums, then I think that would be best. I wish he picked a different character than Zell though. You could probably do something similar with aisle_s's banners, and I think the blue, even though it's a little boring compared to the colorful one, it still looks cool and makes more sense with the color scheme of the rest of the layout.

After a lengthy debate we decided that, as none of the banners were concrete favourites in any way and as Leeza's banner was still a firm favourite to remain instead of having a new banner, each of the finalists will have 5-7 days sitting atop the forums before Leeza's banner returns.

Anyway, wouldn't it be more appropriate to make a new announcement to say what you guys are doing? Since there were no clear cut winner, the staff is giving each banner a week or so before returning back to Leeza's old banner. Wouldn't an it help clear some confusion? You know, just in case any members are confused about seeing a new banner.

More importantly, stop using stupid programs that disable any url with "banner" in it. A good example being ZoneAlarm, which can have said feature removed by going to Privacy and turning off such things as Cookie Control, Ad Blocking and Mobile Code Control, all of which aren't really worth having on.
