I got called a noob today!

Im settling into univeristy, but I barely know anyone cause Im joining as a second year and everyone knows everyone already. So I was taken aback when my new friend Ellie called me a noob! I couldnt believe it.

I usually associate noob with World of Warcraft or Counter Strike, so hearing someone in the real world who doesnt play games call someone a noob, its abit bizzare! Well to me anyway.

I felt slighty offended, but couldnt stop laughing because it was their way of accepting me into their group. They said I'd get settleed in within a day or so, so Im nickednamed noob for now :D

Actually, a newbie is someone who is new to something, a n00bs on the other hand means people who don't know what the hell they're doing and display obnoxious n00bish tendencies.

I've been called a newbie before in real life. Never been called a n00b though. The day someone calls me a n00b is the day I'm gonna point and yell, YOU NERD!

Erhm, Myles and I call each other noobs and use all the internet lingo repeatedly. Roffel, lawl, elohel, oh-em-gee, dubya-tee-eff, etc.
