I've only seen the original box art for FFVII through FFX-2, but I liked FFVII's. Just Cloud standing in front of the Shinra building. In fact, that's what my desktop picture is, but with a black background.

I like the NTSC cover of FFIX, which has the logo and some of the characters. Unfortunately, the box in the PAL version was quite uninteresting, having just the logo. FF Anthology Europe (FFIV + FFV) was also quite good because of the Amano art in the box.

I'd say FFXII's. Either of them; Collector's Edition or regular. I'm just so pumped about getting ready to play the freak'n game that Even if it had an image of Quina stark naked and doing pushups, it'd still be the best cover...EVER!

Well, since Dirge of Cerberus wasn't on there, I'd have to say VIII, even thought I didn't really like the game all that much.

Gosh couldn't have gootern a smaller image? For me it's between X, VIII and XII collector's Edition, it better be holographic. X shows the improved graphics while VIII is surely just magnificent with the blended colors and evrything. FF XII just looks hawt!

I like the minimalistic Japanese and European box arts far more than any of the American ones. My favourite is probably that of FFX. I've got that logo on my mobile phone too.

LoKuS: Wow, that box art doesn't make me think of FFI at all (I wouldn't even know it's the box of FFI without the FF title), but it definitely makes me think of roleplaying and a medieval fantasy world.

Yes, it was a very symbolic and well placed picture. Showing the power structure of the game, and placing the hero in a valiant pose against the presumably evil fisade.

I prefer the minimalistic versions of the Final Fantasy box art, as seen in Japan and Europe. It is simple but very sweet. I would say that Final Fantasy X had the best box art - I found the design to look really beautiful. Although Final Fantasy VIII's logo was very good as well. ^.^

I personally like the Kingdom Hearts boxes the best, but that's not a choice. :mad:

FFVIII is my favorite FF game, so I guess I'll vote for that. :jess:

Final Fantasy X's box art looks cool to me. Like others have sort of said already...water played a big role in the game and the fact that it was on the cover made sense. Also, I loved the look of the brotherhood sword and the graphics look really good. You can see the water drips on Tidus' face and everything.

i prefer the PaL versions where its just the title with some artwork behind it.

it makes them more recognizable as FFs for me.

i cant choose though. there all really good.
