Did anyone else catch the premiere of "Ugly Betty" on ABC on Thursday?

I thought it was so hilarious,I can tell that i'm gonna get addicted to this show!

I thought this show was cute :jess: I enjoyed the pilot, but I'll have to wait and see if they can keep up a storyline. Her being hated by her co-workers can't last forever after all.

I was surprised to find how bad I felt for her ;O! I wanted to give her comfort hugs, poncho and all.

I actually just finished watching it not five minutes ago. I thought it was alright. Yeah, "cute" sounds like the right word. I didn't find it laugh-out-loud hilarious like, oh, say, Scrubs. I do like Betty as a character. She's very loveable.

I haven't watched the show, but I have a problem with the whole "ugly" angle they are trying to pull. She isn't exactly ugly. Sure, she's TV ugly, but not ugly for real. Yeah, that bothers me for some reason.

I liked the second episode even better than the pilot. I think I'm gonna stick with it for a while. The moral behind the whole thing was overused and kinda cheesy, but I agreed with it =( The woman looked fine without the magazine touching her photos up. I thought the was beautiful :jess: Then again, I don't really find Betty ugly either ._.

I loved the fashion show on TV that they showed a few times because it's so accurate. E! is exactly like that, and that's why I can't stand watching E! for more than 4 seconds. They burst into their shows with "BREAKING NEWS! Mariah Carrey has lost her shoe! OMFG! OMFG! THE WORLD IS UPSIDE DOWN!" I laughed so hard at them making fun of how serious they take it.

She doesn't seem like she is THAT ugly. She just has the Princess Dairies syndrome. I bet if she lost the braces and frizzy hair, she'd be hot...

Yeah, me too. She wears ridiculous clothes sometimes and the braces aren't very flattering, but she's actually plenty pretty if you ask me.

I watched half of last night's episode. It was not as good as the first one, which also wasn't very good.
