Who do you think would win in a fight The Incredible Hulk or Superman? I think The Hulk would win because as The Hulk gets angrier as the fight goes on he gets stronger too...By the way if you're going to post on my thread please give me a serious post. Please don't joke around and say some like "Sarah" or anything alright? It's getting old like Sony's pathetic attempt to draw gamers away from Nintendo on the handheld market.
Superman already one and he could do it again.
This fight isn't fair.

Really? I didn't know that I'm not a comic book freak in fact I've only read one comic book in my life...And that's a Star Wars comic.(I can't remember the title.)

It was during a joint crossover thingy between Marvel and DC. Superman turns out to be more invulnerable than the Hulk is strong- also, the flying and heat vision does a number. Later on they get fused into the a composite of both characters. That was kinda stupid.

I saw hulk, i feel superman didn't win because of his powers, but because of his popularity.
udsuna

Yeah. But let's face it, superman does have the advantage. Hulk can't break the sound barrier or last very long in deep space. Popularity or no, Superman would win.

Any damage dealt to the hulk would only make him stronger, plus he has regenerated from virtually nothing to whole in a matter of seconds. eventually Superman will wear down, hulk will only get stronger.

Ah- but in which version. Don't forget this "regeneration" thing is a recent invention. It used to be than any injury that actually got through the Hulk's hide lasted until he made his transformation back into Banner's form.

I thought that power had been there for a while, don't really read comics much, I only have what I've heard in debates and links and such. With REgeneration I think He'd win, otherwise he's screwed.

Well, the Hulk's rejuvinative powers is part of the NEWEST version of the Hulk. The same Marvel incarnation as the new X-men (where Rogue doesn't get to fly and is somehow 20 years younger than before). And all that jazz. Of course, if we're talking modern incarnation, the Hulk has a serious vulnerability to cold (extreme cold forces him back into human form, or at least into a weakened half/human type state)- so Superman still has the edge.
For those who want to note the vulnerability to cold- look at the fights between Hulk and Wendigo. Long story short, Wendigo is an elemental spirit- inherently indestructible. Hulk couldn't destroy it. But the cold pushed Banner's mind into control by surpressing most of Hulk's rage (and power). And of course his intelligence allowed him to trap Wendigo.
Besides, the regeneration wouldn't give Hulk too much advantage. Superman doesn't need to rest, either, and that faster-than-speeding-bullet thing means the Hulk would never be able to actually land a hit. The best the Hulk could really hope for is a standstill.

Supes never uses Ice breath anyway, but then yes, he would win. Stupid cold weakness.

Well, it's that or throw Hulk into the sun. Regenerate THAT.
Of course, there are plenty of entities in the Marvel/DC world that'd feed them both to their own livers. Professor X comes to mind. All brawn, no psychic resistance. Goodnight.

Knowing Marvel they'd probably saw he could.

Then again, I enjoy American style comics the way most people around here are into anime.

Hulk. Simply because he's green. Anything green wins.

Superman the other one is green, I don't like green!

Superman...because he not only have strength...he also have nautral powers like the laser emits from his eyes and the x-ray eyes...these will put superman on the advantage against Hulk..

"HULK SMASH, HULK BASH" Vs "Well well, should I vary it up a bit with ice breath or laser vision, Heck I could drop a whole country on him or just throw him into the sun instead"
Superman gets my vote.

Superman is stronger than the Hulk anyway. He's faster too, and has other useful superpowers. And he has brains.

In a Marvel vs. DC match, Superman and Hulk fought each other, and Superman won, so I guess that makes him better. However, I think Hulk would defeat Superman if the savage Hulk was set free instead of having Bruce Banner in control.

Savage Hulk would physically rip superman in two. Depending on his anger. let him get one grip of superman and superman's toasted.

But Superman has superspeed, so Hulky boy wouldn't be able to get a grip. Especially if Superman had covered himself in grease beforehand.

Banner would bring kryptonite. It is all circumstance. Every hero has a weakness - tis what seperates heros from gods.

That was cool.
Banner might, yes, but would Hulk remember to use it?
Also, in the newest Sup'man movie, Sup'man gets stabbed with a cryptonite dagger, lives, then lifts A COUNTRY MADE OF CRYPTONITE out of the ocean, and somehow has the strength to throw it into space. I can't see Hulky boy doing that.

Isn't the hero usually the underdog at some point? The movie was also a bit far fetched, and thier have been too many versions of each superman and hulk to really make a head on comparison imo.
I voted that superman would win, as that is the logical choice imo. However, who ever thought that humans would beat the aliens in Independence day. It's all circumstantial.

Quick question, Can superman Breath in outter space? I remember seeing a hulk episode where he had to wear a space suit.
Quindiana Jones

Superman can, and does. A LOT. It happens at least twice in, like, every episode LoLzOrDs.
And bip, be serious here. We had a crazy black man, and a very geeky nerdy scienty guy, the aliens only had superior technology etc. How could we not win? Oh right...

Superman is weak to Kryptonite
Kryptonite is green
So is the Hulk
Therefore The Hulk would win.

The dead professor X?
Professor X isn't dead, though he is powerless right now.
Superman would take this. He can match Hulk in strength for a good long while, and is much faster and smarter. He could easily throw Hulk into the sun, and Hulk wouldn't know what happened until he was half way there. As was said earlier, regenerate that.
Also, Superman obviously can't breath in space, though depending on which version he may only need to breath to talk. At the very least he can survive a good long while in space without air; more than enough time to fly the Hulk up and toss him into the sun.

The Hulk would just get bigger and meaner every time. And remember, as tough as Supes is, he can still be hurt through nothing more than superior physical force - Mongol comes to mind. However Supes has more brains, so he might well just outwit the Hulk.
HOWEVER!
Lex Luthor would beat them all <3
Lex Luthor would beat them all <3
No way, Lex was an insane genius when it came to inventing, but a total idiot when it came to planning.
He would not beat Superman.

I think if this was a competition over who has the better video games The Hulk would just barely win. Both characters have had their share of awful video games...But just recently The Hulk had a good video game it's called The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. This Hulk video game got a four out of five from X-Play and it looks like fun. I think I'll buy it.:)

Superman is level 120 at getting owned by the Incredible Hulk

Superman doesn't need to breath. Or eat. Or sleep. Even the Hulk can get tired by virtue of mental exaustion. He'd lose, eventually. Although you could probably wipe out a fairly large city in the fight.

I like a lot of anime, but Marvel stuff is still awesome. Spiderman and X-men > most anime I've seen ;).
Superman could tear Hulk in two. No contest.
