Between Photobucket or Imageshack which one do you think is better? Or is there another image hosting site that's better than the 2 listed above?

Recently photobucket has been increasing the filesize of uploaded images, resulting in several sig removals on sites with strict filesize limits. For that reason, imageshack is better.

Before photobucket's recent, and in my opinion completely unnecessary overhaul, I would've chosen that.

Anyway, I use ripway since they support .php files, meaning I can host my rotator there. The only downside with ripway is the 25MB per 24 hour bandwidth limit.

I like both of them, and I use them both.

Pros
I like Photobucket's organization and ability to upload multiple images at once.

But I like Imageshack's no bandwidth limit and ability to upload even without an account.

Cons
I don't like Photobucket's account bandwidth limit.

And I don't like the lack of an actual login for Imageshack.

My own servers or my webspace on the EoFF server work great.

I secretly host everything on EoFF's server to steal their bandwidth. It's pretty awesome.

I'd have to say I use Photobucket the most....I've heard of 'fotki' but haven't researched it....

Can you hotlink attachments outside the server?

I have server space, so these services are useless to me.

I'm not sure. I think attachments viewable by guests are diabled, so the person would have to have an account here logged in the view the attachments.

I use photobucket. Never tried imageshack, so I can't say for sure, but from what I've heard, photobucket sounds better.

Photobucket just because you can be organized, search for other people's as well, use it as a gallery or hide it!
I don't like imageshack just because you don't need an actual log-in! ^^

Photobucket.

Although the adverts/popups are becoming more frequent, which can be irritating.

What an odd poll.

I use photobucket, purely for the fact that I did not of imageshack back when I needed a place to host images. I don't really know what's better.

I've never used imageshack before so photobucket gets my vote by default. Photobucket is pretty good, except it doesn't have enough space, I like having lots of pictures.

Photobucket no longer allows you to have unlimited sized (resolution -- they have a 250 KB cap I think) files. I think it's 800x600 or 1024x768 now, which is no good because I use it to upload screen caps (at 1280x1024).

Imageshack still lets me send 1280x1024 files so I have to go with them. The only thing with imageshack is that I don't use an account so I don't have any means to organise stuff.

Might look into that tonight.
