I read on the news a few minutes ago that, in order to cut expenses on the 4th Pirates of the Caribbean movie, they're going to kill off Will Turner! :D
I really shouldn't be so happy about this... But I really didn't like him. :)
What do you guys think?

There's going to be a 4th movie now?? 0_o - well aside from the thought that by that point the well will be well and truly dry, getting rid of Orlando Bloom can only be a good thing. Any chance we can have Keira Knightley's character killed off too?

I've never ever heard that they were going to make a fourth. I always thought it was supposed to be a trilogy and nothing more.

Back on topic: If it's true I think it's kinda lame. I mean, he's one of the main characters and killing him off for just such a reason ist just too much.

I was really hoping you were going to tell me that Orlando Jones is permanently retiring from acting.

My thoughts exactly. :)
And yeah, I never knew there was gonna be a 4th one until a few minutes ago either.
The girl I live next to has posters of him all over her walls and stuff, I never found him funny or even particularly interesting at all.

Yeah. Right. >_>

Sorry, but there's no real legitimate source saying that a 4th pirates movie is even confirmed. The China Daily news or whatever is not a legitimate source. Not only that but I'm sure that Johnny and Keira haven't signed on for any 4th movie. AND, even if there was a 4th movie, I highly doubt that any of the major players in the first 3 movies would agree to a 4th one. A trilogy is one thing. A respectable actor can agree to a Trilogy. But a 4th add-on movie? Orlando, Johnny, and Keira are all too smart for that.

I don't think a 4th Pirates movie would be a good idea anyway. The second part was already clearly inferior to the first movie, IMHO, and with the third movie being released so soon, I wonder whether the third movie will be anything but a lousy sequel, and after that, any possible sequels will be mostly just milking the franchise. I'm not saying that's going to happen for sure, but somehow I fear the Pirates series would turn out like that if they made more than 3 movies.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if neither Orlando Bloom nor Keira Knightley signed on the fourth movie. I'm not sure about Johnny Depp, though, because he likes playing Jack Sparrow's character a lot.
