I got a myspace last year and used to go on it quite a bit, until I joined another bandwagon and got a Facebook :p. I mostly use it now to post bulletins (asking for help, making announcements, etc...not random phrases or thoughts like some people like to do -_-), but I used to go on it a lot. I actually discovered a lot of good music (imo) and became better friends with people I know in real life through it. So I don't think it's too bad...I just think it's gotten a bad rep because of the stalker/pedoplile issues and tacky designs some people use.

I use it mainly for keeping up with all of my friends. It's also a great way of meeting new people, for those of us that like getting out of our caves every once and awhile. MySpace wins over other communities only because of the size of the community, and how easy it is to find/stalk other people.
