View Full Version : What is (or was) your favourite school subject?

This is a poll asking what your favourite school subject is, or was if you've finished your schooling. This is mostly supposed to be based at the elementary or high school level, but if you want to base it on your college/university schooling you can. I will try to put as many options as possible, but if you have another vote for whatever is your favourite out of the list, then state your real favourite in your post. I'm not going to put an "Other" option, so make sure to state your favourite if it isn't there.
Personally my favourite is English. I like reading and writing, and I'm really good at the subject.

Art has always been my favourite subject at school, but now at college I have two. Art, as usual and Psychology. :jess:

English. I started reading early, so I've loved it since then. And I like writing, too.

(Study Hall is my real answer)

I guess English if I must pick one. I'm too lazy to truly say I like any of them though :monocle:

I took photography for a year last year, and it was fun, but it wasn't at the level I expected. Everyone but me and maybe one other person took it just to piss the time away. I also really enjoy English. :)

I basically liked all my classes, sometimes a few less than others due to teachers.

I hated Physical Education.

I have Gym first and second semester this year. They make us run around so early too. It's incredibly horrid and cold. However, I have Humanities third and fourth semester.

EDIT: I thought this was asking what my first class is. :) My favorite class is English currently.

But alas I am in college now and my fave class this semester is Forenic Science...Learing all the different CSI type fields. :D

my favourite class was computing in highschool, so much so I studied it for college too. However my best class was actually modern languages. I studied french at school and could have gone on to uni with it easily but I changed language at college for japanese which unfortunately has fallen in to dis-use since my friends sadly didn't have the flair I did for the language.

I really enjoyed sociology and law at A level, but that all changed when I did a year of it at uni. Now I'm doing computing, accounting and management. Which is strange, because I used to hate IT classes, but that was mainly due to the teacher.

I liked Drama back when I was taking it. :ghost:

Those were the days. :rolleyes2

I'd always get good marks for "accidentally" messing up plays and skits. :D

I believe mine was French, since I enjoyed it, was pretty good at it, liked my teacher etc...

Would have been IT if I actually got a whole IT class, but I didn't. ;_;

Alas, there making me take stubid classes to help us pass the state exams or something it's something everyone at my school has to take so I have no good classes anymore.

I did both Art and Drama in my last year for GCSE, which was amazing. I have this totally killer story about how everyone in my Drama class was convinced I was gay, but I'll go into that later.

Oooh, AP Music theory? What's that like? My school only has plain Music Theory, which I think I'll take next year.

At school it was maths.

At university, I double major in computer science and maths, which I like equally much.

Gr.10 French class = The greatest class ever. I had all my best buds, and made some awesome new friends in that class. Man, did we pull off the most insane pranks ever! Yup, I wasn't too mature back then. It's too bad we all had to split up after going to University. I just hope we can all meet up again and reminisce of the good old days...

Physical Education. It was fun and absolutely no essays. Art allows you to draw the odd naked chick now and again but there hindrances. Such as this one time I had to draw a close up of what looked like my art teacher's face, deep nostrils and all

Engliiish Literature, History and Drama are all loved in equal amounts and for different reasons. All three are amazing and enthralling subjects :D I would have loved to do Government Politics as well, and maybe Economics and Sociology, coz they all sound really interesting.

A while back I actually heard about some class in the US called History of Rock Music or something like that. Man, that would be the most fucking awesome class in the whole UNIVERSE O_O

I enjoyed my biology and chemistry classes in high school. As much as I hated getting up at 9 AM and walking in a blizzard to my Theatre class in collge, I enjoyed that as well.

I loved History. Was gutted when I only got a D in my GCSE, but I suppose that's what you get for spending the whole last year playing hangman because you don't like the teacher.

English. i've picked up something else for a major. the work load was just too much. besides, it doesn't matter whether i go with it or not because i simply cannot do anything that doesn't include writing.

Math, Science and Secondary Language (English).

I like Math because I always get 'A' (With a scores more than 90) in Math but it starting to get sucky now, I hate algebraic and anything that involves a geometrical set, I hate positive and negative too. For the first time, I got 'B' in math. I think I'll get 'C' this final exam.

I like Science a lot because I like nature. But I always get 'C' until I get 'A' in it in UPSR (That's one of our country important exam). Since then, I always get 'A', not to mention, to be the one that get the highest mark. I get the feeling that I'll like Biology *See reproductive system topic*.

I like English a lot more than my own language. Because I like teasing people using English..

My favourite will always be Science.
